Spectators: 35 (Terracing: 27, Seating: 8, VIP seats: 0) The field was rather wet after several days of rain when Thomas Steinhaugen took the kick off in the first half of the match. After a defensive mix-up in Havndal FV's zone, Tycho Skylv stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Maurits Heinegaard came out of the goal and Tycho Skylv tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Richard Dely kicked well hit freekick during the 7th minute of the match. Thanks to some nice moves Tycho Skylv could shoot a difficult shot in the 8th minute, which Maurits Heinegaard however easily saved by the left post. After 11 played minutes Eldrup got a freekick which was hit by Uffe Videnkjær. In the 12th minute of the match Tonny Temte shot from a long distance. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Michael Cubel showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. 25 minutes into the game, Sigfred Vestbo cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 0-1. Michael Cubel was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. In the 28th minute, Uffe Videnkjær got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. After some fancy dribbling in the 32nd minute, Eddy Jøkladal managed to get in a good position for a shot. Havndal FV's supporters rose to their feet, but Eddy Jøkladal was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Michael Cubel breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Eldrup's Michael Cubel played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Eddy Jøkladal in the 35th minute of play. Maurits Heinegaard took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Thomas Steinhaugen, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Michael Cubel showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Eddy Jøkladal in the 43rd minute of the match. Eddy Jøkladal recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 47th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. After the first half Havndal FV were leading 0-1. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Eddy Jøkladal made a kick off. In the 53rd minute Havndal FV were awarded a corner. Tonny Temte went to the cornerflag to take it. The corner ended in Tonny Temte almost managing to get the ball behind the net, but Eldrup's Michael Cubel did a great save. After some careless play in the Havndal FV defense, Thomas Steinhaugen kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Maurits Heinegaard. The Havndal FV fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Maurits Heinegaard should have stopped the shot. In the 61st match minute, Havndal FV was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Vagnar Klitby to maneuver through the defense. In the 62nd minute of the match Knud Rames shot from a long distance. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Maurits Heinegaard showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. After having played for 63 minutes, Thomas Steinhaugen managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Eldrup's supporters crossed their fingers, but Thomas Steinhaugen was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Eldrup's Michael Cubel proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 68th minute of the match, managed to save Eldrup from getting a goal against them. Thomas Steinhaugen fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 70th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Maurits Heinegaard having to interfere. Tycho Skylv received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 74th minute. Maurits Heinegaard tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Thomas Steinhaugen in the 75th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Maurits Heinegaard saved Havndal FV from getting behind. After having played for 80 minutes, Eddy Jøkladal managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Havndal FV's supporters crossed their fingers, but Eddy Jøkladal was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Michael Cubel made an important save on a dangerous shot by Sigfred Vestbo in the 82nd minute. Havndal FV's Maurits Heinegaard played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Tycho Skylv in the 83rd minute of play. Havndal FV's Sigfred Vestbo got a good chance for a goal in the 86th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. 93 minutes into the game, Uffe Videnkjær was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Eldrup's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Havndal FV the free kick. After a rather tough play, Eldrup's Uffe Videnkjær got a free kick in the 93rd minute. The teams fought very hard right up to the final whistle. Both sets of players were happy to go away with a draw.
