When the match had gone on for 10 minutes, Chris Agerkilde took a quick shot and it went in 1-0 without a chance for Zacharias Darave to make any attempt to save it. Aleks Klitaa, 25 minutes into the match, dribbled the ball up the side of the field and decided to take a long shot at the goal. Unfortunately, the ball was poorly hit and landed closer to the corner than to the goal. Chris Agerkilde received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 27th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. The supporters of Højbjerg booed when Asmindrup AC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 34 match minutes in a wonderful position. Henry Holritzer didn't get a good kick on the ball. Nis Borrefjæll recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 37th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. With a little luck, Højbjerg's Zacharias Darave got control of the ball when Nis Borrefjæll tried to sneak it across the goal line. Christian Glerbæk took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Elias Sandvej, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. When the referee blew for the end of the half the home team players were clearly happier, as they went in to the break leading 2-0.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Elias Sandvej to strike the kick off in the second half. When Chris Agerkilde came up free with the goalie in the 54th minute, the Asmindrup AC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Chris Agerkilde couldn't finish the play. In the 59th minute, Elias Sandvej got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. When the match had gone on for 66 minutes, Reiner Hartz took a quick shot and it went in 2-1 without a chance for Christian Glerbæk to make any attempt to save it. Rubert Hallingdal struck a weak shot in the 71st minute. Zacharias Darave didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Asmindrup AC. Asmindrup AC's Nis Borrefjæll got a good chance for a goal in the 73rd minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. After having played for 75 minutes, Elias Sandvej managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Højbjerg's supporters crossed their fingers, but Elias Sandvej was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Zacharias Darave showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Nis Borrefjæll in the 81st minute of the match. Jens Haurids kicked well hit freekick during the 81st minute of the match. Asmindrup AC's Nis Borrefjæll got a good chance for a goal in the 85th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. The supporters of Asmindrup AC booed when Højbjerg was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 90 match minutes in a wonderful position. Jarl Stige didn't get a good kick on the ball. Aleks Klitaa took a chance and fired a shot far from the goal in the 91st minute, but it turned out to be a dangerous situation for Zacharias Darave. Højbjerg's goalkeeper really had to stretch himself to stop the ball from crossing the goal line. In the 97th minute, Nis Borrefjæll got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. There was no doubt that Asmindrup AC were the better team. Asmindrup AC's players enjoyed the ovations of the crowd after the victory.
