Sigurd Karnov started the match with the kick off. Teis Agnsvad sent away a hard shot on goal in the 4th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. In the 7th minute Jochum Ridal shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Bøje Vallersted saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 8th minute, Lauritz Bæk hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 9th minute of the match, Sigurd Karnov tried to roll the ball into the goal by the right post, but Bøje Vallersted saw his intentions and got control of the ball before it passed the line. After a defensive mix-up in Bjørnstrup's zone, Kurd Knorborg stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Sigfried Jogvansson came out of the goal and Kurd Knorborg tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. 13 minutes into the game, Sigurd Karnov recieved a splendid long ball, split the defenders, and gently placed the ball to the left of Bøje Vallersted. Sigurd Karnov showed that you don't have to tear a hole in the net to score, 1-0. After some fancy dribbling in the 19th minute, Svenne Glenner managed to get in a good position for a shot. Dannemare SIK's supporters rose to their feet, but Svenne Glenner was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Sigfried Jogvansson breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Kurd Knorborg sent away a hard shot on goal in the 20th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Sigfried Jogvansson made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Kurd Knorborg in the 22nd minute of play. Svenne Glenner sent away a hard shot on goal in the 24th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Sigfried Jogvansson showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Kurd Knorborg, who was totally free with the ball in the 27th minute. Svenne Glenner hit a great freekick 28 minutes into the match. Sigurd Karnov recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 30th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Bjørnstrup's Sigurd Karnov was standing unmarked in front of the goal when he, in the 32nd play minute, got the ball and easily drilled it into the goal. When the match had gone on for 39 minutes, Svenne Glenner put it in 2-1 from a short distance just to the right of Sigfried Jogvansson. Dannemare SIK's Bøje Vallersted proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 48th minute of the match, managed to save Dannemare SIK from getting a goal against them. Af the end of the first half the score was 2-1. The first half had gone as expected for the home team.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Kurd Knorborg to strike the kick off in the second half. When Jochum Ridal came up free with the goalie in the 55th minute, the Bjørnstrup fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Jochum Ridal couldn't finish the play. The supporters of Bjørnstrup booed when Dannemare SIK was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 59 match minutes in a wonderful position. Lauritz Bæk didn't get a good kick on the ball. An unexpectedly hard shot by Jochum Ridal in the 60th minute of play forced Dannemare SIK's goalkeeper Bøje Vallersted to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. The referee gave Bjørnstrup a penalty, 63 minutes into the game. The penalty shot was made by Herluf Warm, who made a well placed shot into the net to the right of Dannemare SIK's Bøje Vallersted. 3-1. A collision led to Dannemare SIK getting a freekick after 85 minutes play. Lynge Helmsdal hit a great ball. Sigurd Karnov fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 89th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Bøje Vallersted having to interfere. Bøje Vallersted stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Jochum Ridal's shot from short distance in the 97th minute. Bjørnstrup's supporters were highly satisfied with the result. They cheered their team of the pitch, having watched them win a very even match.
