An unexpectedly hard shot by Karsten Scherff in the 5th minute of play forced Tuesbøl's goalkeeper Asker Harvild to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 9 minutes into the match, Vraa's goalkeeper Gregers Scharfenberg had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Lejf Halvard. Gregers Scharfenberg made a fantastic save in the 26th minute, when Lejf Halvard sent off a good shot on target. Lejf Halvard in the 28thth minute had a little luck and got a chance for a shot in front of the goal. Without hesitation aimed to the right of Gregers Scharfenberg, who managed to lunge to the right direction and made a save. Tuesbøl's Lejf Halvard got a good chance for a goal in the 32nd minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. If Karsten Scherff had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 35th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. In the 38th match minute, Tuesbøl was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Mark Gennersgaard to maneuver through the defense. Asker Harvild made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Arvid Thyholt in the 39th minute of play. Asker Harvild showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Karsten Scherff, who was totally free with the ball in the 47th minute. After a very even first half the match was still tied. The players went to their respective dressing rooms to discuss the tactics for the second half.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Johnny Lippmann made a kick off. Gregers Scharfenberg showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Lejf Halvard, who was totally free with the ball in the 58th minute. If Johnny Lippmann had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 59th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After some fancy dribbling in the 62nd minute, Johnny Lippmann managed to get in a good position for a shot. Tuesbøl's supporters rose to their feet, but Johnny Lippmann was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Gregers Scharfenberg breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. If Karsten Scherff had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 67th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Asker Harvild made an important save on a dangerous shot by Arvid Thyholt in the 69th minute. 71 minutes into the match, Vraa's goal looked a bit too open when Lejf Halvard came free, but Gregers Scharfenberg reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Gregers Scharfenberg came out of the goal in the 73rd minute to try and stop a shot by Tuesbøl's Johnny Lippmann. But to his dismay, Johnny Lippmann quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 1-0. In the 75th match minute, Vraa was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Thue Fersum to maneuver through the defense. Johnny Lippmann received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 77th minute. Gregers Scharfenberg tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere.
