In the 3rd minute Sigurt Rosenholm shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Jørgen Skeem saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Sigurt Rosenholm's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Jørgen Skeem read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 11th minute of play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Claus Glensø in the 12th minute of play forced Vejers's goalkeeper Jørgen Skeem to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Gerringe's Eyvin Kett proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 14th minute of the match, managed to save Gerringe from getting a goal against them. An unexpectedly hard shot by Moritz Kibernich in the 18th minute of play forced Gerringe's goalkeeper Eyvin Kett to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 22nd minute Claus Glensø shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Jørgen Skeem saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Jørgen Skeem took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Claus Glensø, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. If Thue Bjur had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 26th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. When Gerringe's Claus Glensø in the 30th minute got a chance for a shot 30th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Vejers's goalie prevented a goal. Sigurt Rosenholm received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 35th minute. Jørgen Skeem tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Jørgen Skeem showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Claus Glensø in the 40th minute of the match. In the 45th minute, Moritz Kibernich got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. After having played for 46 minutes, Gerner Bangshøj managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Vejers's supporters crossed their fingers, but Gerner Bangshøj was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Eyvin Kett showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Moritz Kibernich in the 48th minute of the match. The score stood at 0-0 when the half time whistle went. Both sets of players seemed reasonably pleased with how the match was going.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Claus Glensø was the one to do the kick off. 53 minutes into the match, Vejers's goalkeeper Jørgen Skeem had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Sigurt Rosenholm. With a little luck, Vejers's Jørgen Skeem got control of the ball when Sigurt Rosenholm tried to sneak it across the goal line. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Claus Glensø in the 57th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Jørgen Skeem prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Gerringe's Sigurt Rosenholm got a good chance for a goal in the 60th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. When Moritz Kibernich got free in front of the goal in the 63rd minute he wasn't very focused and chipped the ball just over the goal. Eyvin Kett was delighted since he was out of position and the ball would have got in if it had gone under the crossbar. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Moritz Kibernich in the 65th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Eyvin Kett prevented the ball from getting in the gole. When Kenny Sundskard fell near the penalty area in the 71st minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Gerringe's protests and gave Kenny Sundskard a yellow card for diving instead. In the 71st match minute, Gerringe was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Kenny Sundskard to maneuver through the defense. Eyvin Kett took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Gerner Bangshøj, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Moritz Kibernich struck a weak shot in the 76th minute. Eyvin Kett didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Vejers. 77 minutes into the match, Gerner Bangshøj had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Eyvin Kett. Gerringe's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Gerner Bangshøj was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 1-0. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Gerner Bangshøj in the 87th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Eyvin Kett prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Nigel Skødt charged in rather forcefully in the 88th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Nigel Skødt the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. In the 88th match minute, Gerringe was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Nigel Skødt to maneuver through the defense. Gerringe's players left the field with heads hung low after losing a match that had been finely balanced throughout.
