The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. After 6 played minutes Vejrs FC got a freekick which was hit by Chrestian Halving. In the 8th minute of the match Cornelius Dahrup shot from a long distance. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Knut Tesner showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. If Milton Rastenni had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 11th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 12th minute, Sergei Falm hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. 15 minutes into the game, Vejrs FC's Jørg Bimann nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Moritz Faxhardt made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 0-1. Bertel Tobiasen sent away a hard shot on goal in the 20th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. An unexpectedly hard shot by Bertel Tobiasen in the 27th minute of play forced Hov's goalkeeper Moritz Faxhardt to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. If Milton Rastenni had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 30th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. 32 minutes into the match, Bertel Tobiasen had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Moritz Faxhardt. Hov's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Bertel Tobiasen was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 0-2. The supporters of Hov booed when Vejrs FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 43 match minutes in a wonderful position. Chrestian Halving didn't get a good kick on the ball. Tor Reibe, 44 minutes into the match, dribbled the ball up the side of the field and decided to take a long shot at the goal. Unfortunately, the ball was poorly hit and landed closer to the corner than to the goal. If Milton Rastenni had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 47th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Sylvester Skagenstjerne was the one to do the kick off. A collision led to Vejrs FC getting a freekick after 51 minutes play. Chrestian Halving hit a great ball. After a rather tough play, Vejrs FC's Ricardo Finnemann got a free kick in the 55th minute. In the 57th minute, Bertel Tobiasen hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 61st minute, Jørg Bimann got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. The supporters of Hov booed when Vejrs FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 63 match minutes in a wonderful position. Ricardo Finnemann didn't get a good kick on the ball. Moritz Faxhardt made a fantastic save in the 67th minute, when Bertel Tobiasen sent off a good shot on target. In the 72nd minute, Hov's goalie took a deep sigh of relief after Jørg Bimann fired away a hard shot that went just outside the left post. Sylvester Skagenstjerne received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 74th minute. Knut Tesner tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Sergei Falm hit a great freekick 77 minutes into the match. In the 88th minute, Bertel Tobiasen left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Vejrs FC fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 0-3. Hov's Tor Reibe couldn't find anyone to pass the ball to, so he shot a long shot towards the goal in the 96th minute. The shot went wide which resulted in a goal kick for Vejrs FC. The away crowd were delighted with the way their team had played and cheered loudly when the final whistle sounded. Vejrs FC walked away with the win, even though the match was close until the end.
