The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. A collision led to Fjælebroen getting a freekick after 3 minutes play. Moritz Forst hit a great ball. Magnus Ellan took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Birger Lawrence, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. If Birger Lawrence had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 11th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Fjælebroen's Magnus Ellan played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Birger Lawrence in the 13th minute of play. In the 21st minute, Jarl Sindbo got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. If Birger Lawrence had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 25th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Ivar Svankjær kicked well hit freekick during the 34th minute of the match. Jarl Sindbo received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 38th minute. Detlev Siegstad tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. 41 minutes into the game, Ivar Svankjær was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Hedegaard AC's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Fjælebroen the free kick. The supporters of Fjælebroen booed when Hedegaard AC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 41 match minutes in a wonderful position. Ivar Svankjær didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 44thth minute of the game Jarl Sindbo who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Hedegaard AC's Detlev Siegstad was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Birger Lawrence to strike the kick off in the second half. Fjælebroen's Magnus Ellan played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Birger Lawrence in the 54th minute of play. 54 minutes into the match, Birger Lawrence notched a goal, 2-0, to the right of Fjælebroen's Magnus Ellan. Magnus Ellan was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Magnus Ellan made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Birger Lawrence in the 58th minute of play. Detlev Siegstad showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Rudolf Danfoss in the 69th minute of the match. Magnus Ellan didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Daniel Wessely went, in the 71st minute, to the upper right corner, 3-0 was the resulting score. If Rudolf Danfoss had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 80th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After some fancy dribbling in the 86th minute, Jarl Sindbo managed to get in a good position for a shot. Fjælebroen's supporters rose to their feet, but Jarl Sindbo was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Detlev Siegstad breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Birger Lawrence might have been able to make a better finish in the 89th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Magnus Ellan. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Birger Lawrence ran back to his position shaking his head. When Heinrich Bjerresø fell near the penalty area in the 96th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Fjælebroen's protests and gave Heinrich Bjerresø a yellow card for diving instead. The referee blew his whistle, and the match came to a close. The players exchanged shirts and headed down the tunnel. The Hedegaard AC fans cheered their team off the field, for while Fjælebroen had put up a good fight, they were unable to come out of the game with any points to show for their effort.
