Hemming Vegenfeldt succeeded to score despite a near miss that spronge from right pole into the goal to 1-0 in the 4th playminute. Bremdal's Tonni Weilbach played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Jim Kastrupsen in the 19th minute of play. In the 21st minute Jim Kastrupsen shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Tonni Weilbach saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. When Leonard Bregnedal fell near the penalty area in the 21st minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Bremdal's protests and gave Leonard Bregnedal a yellow card for diving instead. The supporters of Torp SIK booed when Bremdal was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 22 match minutes in a wonderful position. Leonard Bregnedal didn't get a good kick on the ball. Hemming Vegenfeldt sent away a hard shot on goal in the 26th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. After having played for 26 minutes, Hemming Vegenfeldt managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Torp SIK's supporters crossed their fingers, but Hemming Vegenfeldt was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. 31 minutes into the match, Bremdal's goalkeeper Tonni Weilbach had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Bengt Rossil. Hemming Vegenfeldt received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 32nd minute. Tonni Weilbach tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Lenny Stennevad hit a great freekick 33 minutes into the match. 38 minutes in the game, Hemming Vegenfeldt fired away an excellent shot, which passed to the side of the right post without Tonni Weilbach having to interfere. Bengt Rossil came free with the goalkeeper in the 45th minute of the match, and shot straight on target. The shot was a little too simple and Tonni Weilbach could save by the left post. All the noise was coming from the home fans when the whistle went for half-time. The home team had fought hardest to put themselves in a deserved lead.
When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Gustav Boholte made a kick off. When Hemming Vegenfeldt came up free with the goalie in the 55th minute, the Torp SIK fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Hemming Vegenfeldt couldn't finish the play. In the 57th minute Hemming Vegenfeldt shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Tonni Weilbach saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Tonni Weilbach took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Bengt Rossil, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Hemming Vegenfeldt kicked well hit freekick during the 89th minute of the match. If Jim Kastrupsen had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 91st minute.
