An unexpectedly hard shot by August Venvig in the 7th minute of play forced Smidstrup SIK's goalkeeper Volmer Levkovitsch to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Tavs Pleshardt fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 10th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Patrick Meilvang having to interfere. In the 13th minute the ball was on its way in behind Bjelkerup's goalkeeper Patrick Meilvang, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Patrick Meilvang made an important save on a dangerous shot by Adolf Starlung in the 15th minute. Adolf Starlung could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 16th minute of the match, but Patrick Meilvang made a huge save. When Villy Hjortsfeldt came up free with the goalie in the 18th minute, the Bjelkerup fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Villy Hjortsfeldt couldn't finish the play. Villy Hjortsfeldt sent away a hard shot on goal in the 21st minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. After 26 minutes of play, Bjelkerup's Villy Hjortsfeldt made it 0-2 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Volmer Levkovitsch was left in no man's land by his defense there! In the 29th match minute, Smidstrup SIK was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Cornelius Damgaards to maneuver through the defense. 32 minutes into the match, Smidstrup SIK's goal looked a bit too open when August Venvig came free, but Volmer Levkovitsch reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. If Tavs Pleshardt had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 39th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. After a rather tough play, Bjelkerup's August Venvig got a free kick in the 41st minute. When Tavs Pleshardt came up free with the goalie in the 45th minute, the Smidstrup SIK fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Tavs Pleshardt couldn't finish the play. In the 47th minute Tavs Pleshardt shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Patrick Meilvang saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After the first half Bjelkerup were leading 0-2. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Tavs Pleshardt was the one to do the kick off. Adolf Starlung scored 1-2 in the 53rd match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Patrick Meilvang, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Volmer Levkovitsch took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from August Venvig, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. August Venvig fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 62nd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Volmer Levkovitsch having to interfere. An unexpectedly hard shot by Tavs Pleshardt in the 64th minute of play forced Bjelkerup's goalkeeper Patrick Meilvang to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 69th minute, Wilfred Bedstrup hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 71st minute, Tavs Pleshardt left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Smidstrup SIK fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 2-2. Villy Hjortsfeldt's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Volmer Levkovitsch read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 75th minute of play. In the 77th minute of the match, Villy Hjortsfeldt got a very nice opportunity to score, but Volmer Levkovitsch was well-placed and pushed the ball away from the goal at the left post. Villy Hjortsfeldt received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 82nd minute. Volmer Levkovitsch tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 84th minute August Venvig shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Volmer Levkovitsch saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Villy Hjortsfeldt sent away a hard shot on goal in the 89th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. A collision led to Smidstrup SIK getting a freekick after 90 minutes play. Nicholas Balking hit a great ball. Villy Hjortsfeldt struck a weak shot in the 93rd minute. Volmer Levkovitsch didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Bjelkerup. Villy Hjortsfeldt fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 96th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Volmer Levkovitsch having to interfere. Bjelkerup were clearly unhappy with the draw, as they felt they had done enough to earn themselves a victory.
