Seating: 8, VIP seats: 0) The sun was shining, the grass was green and the audience cheered when Esben Nilander got the match started through his kick off. After some fancy dribbling in the 4th minute, Andre Sauvr managed to get in a good position for a shot. Mariager IF's supporters rose to their feet, but Andre Sauvr was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Virgil Angele breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. The supporters of Mariager IF booed when Væggerløse was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 5 match minutes in a wonderful position. Phillip Lupvig didn't get a good kick on the ball. When Mariager IF's Esben Nilander in the 6th minute got a chance for a shot 6th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. Eskil Bastheim received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 13th minute. Virgil Angele tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. If Esben Nilander had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 18th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Asker Parming sent away a hard shot on goal in the 21st minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. 23 minutes into the match, Mariager IF's Esben Nilander sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Virgil Angele narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Mariager IF were awarded a corner in the 25th minute after Væggerløse's defender lost control of the ball, allowing it to roll out over the line. Asmus Weidel took the corner. After a rather tough play, Mariager IF's Al Skarborg got a free kick in the 25th minute. Andre Sauvr struck a weak shot in the 28th minute. Virgil Angele didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Mariager IF. In the 31stth minute of the game Esben Nilander who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Væggerløse's Virgil Angele was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. In the 32nd minute, Marko Ladving hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Asker Parming sent away a hard shot on goal in the 35th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Esben Nilander fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 44th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Virgil Angele having to interfere. The score stood at 0-0 when the half time whistle went. Both sets of players seemed reasonably pleased with how the match was going.
The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Marko Ladving stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. After 51st play minutes Esben Nilander shot 0-1, a short shot which went by Virgil Angele and just under the crossbar into goal. Virgil Angele took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Eskil Bastheim, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After 58 minutes of play Væggerløse's Phillip Lupvig was too eager in his attempt to stop his opponent and brought him down. With that he got his second yellow card and was ordered off the ground. After 60 played minutes Væggerløse got a freekick which was hit by Salomon Panczuk. Augustin Saxil blasted a shot towards the goal in the 65th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Virgil Angele having to make a save. Franz Ellemand made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Salomon Panczuk in the 75th minute of play. Esben Nilander fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 77th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Virgil Angele having to interfere. If Al Skarborg had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 78th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. 82 minutes into the match, Esben Nilander dribbled the ball past the defender and swiftly kicked the ball to the left of Virgil Angele, 0-4. When Mariager IF's Esben Nilander in the 88th minute got a chance for a shot 88th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Væggerløse's goalie prevented a goal.
