Spectators: 36 (Terracing: 28, Seating: 8, VIP seats: 0) It was fairly windy and cold on the field when Esben Nilander kicked off to start the match. 3 minutes into the match, Mariager IF's Eskil Bastheim sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Patrick Meilvang narrowly saved just below the crossbar. When the match had gone on for 5 minutes, Esben Nilander put it in 0-1 from a short distance just to the right of Patrick Meilvang. If Asker Parming had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 8th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Villy Hjortsfeldt could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 12th minute of the match, but Franz Ellemand made a huge save. After 12 played minutes Mariager IF got a freekick which was hit by Asmus Weidel. 15 minutes into the game, Mariager IF's Esben Nilander nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Patrick Meilvang made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 0-3. In the 18th minute Villy Hjortsfeldt shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Franz Ellemand saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After 21 minutes, Andre Sauvr mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Mariager IF and the Bjelkerup players grew even worse after the yellow card. After 21 played minutes Mariager IF got a freekick which was hit by Andre Sauvr. In the 22nd minute, Balder Serritzlew sent off a long shot on goal, but the shot was nowhere near the goal and Mariager IF's Franz Ellemand didn't even have to move. Franz Ellemand showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from August Venvig in the 24th minute of the match. Augustin Saxil hit a great freekick 29 minutes into the match. Eskil Bastheim blasted a shot towards the goal in the 32nd minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Patrick Meilvang having to make a save. A hard, long distance shot from Eskil Bastheim flew over the goal. 36 minutes into the game, Mariager IF's Asker Parming nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Patrick Meilvang made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 1-4. When Eskil Bastheim came up free with the goalie in the 46th minute, the Mariager IF fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Eskil Bastheim couldn't finish the play. Patrick Meilvang stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Esben Nilander's shot from short distance in the 48th minute. Even after changing tactics the home team jogged off the field with a 1-4 deficit. They would have to work harder if they wanted to turn things around in the second half.

Franz Ellemand showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from August Venvig, who was totally free with the ball in the 53rd minute. In the 55th match minute, Bjelkerup was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Sepp Lindensparre to maneuver through the defense. 56 minutes into the game, one of Bjelkerup:s players got tackled near the goal, and the referee blew for a penalty. In the 57th minute there was a penalty for Mariager IF. Asmus Weidel stepped forward and shot the ball to the right of a diving Patrick Meilvang. 1-5. Andre Sauvr received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 60th minute. Patrick Meilvang tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. 62 minutes into the match, Mariager IF's goal looked a bit too open when August Venvig came free, but Franz Ellemand reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Balder Serritzlew took a chance and fired a shot far from the goal in the 65th minute, but it turned out to be a dangerous situation for Franz Ellemand. Mariager IF's goalkeeper really had to stretch himself to stop the ball from crossing the goal line. In the 69th minute, Åge Stenseth hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 75th minute, Esben Nilander got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Esben Nilander received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 77th minute. Patrick Meilvang tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. An unexpectedly hard shot by August Venvig in the 79th minute of play forced Mariager IF's goalkeeper Franz Ellemand to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 81st minute, Nick Namansa got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Eskil Bastheim was really disappointed when he shot the ball just outside the right post instead of scoring a goal in the 83rd minute. Mariager IF's manager could be seen on the sidelines shaking his head and muttering to himself as his team had just wasted another chance. After having played for 88 minutes, Åge Stenseth managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Bjelkerup's supporters crossed their fingers, but Åge Stenseth was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Asker Parming sent away a hard shot on goal in the 90th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Mariager IF's Esben Nilander was standing unmarked in front of the goal when he, in the 93rd play minute, got the ball and easily drilled it into the goal.
