Spectators: 35 (Terracing: 27, Seating: 8, VIP seats: 0) The sun was shining, the grass was green and the audience cheered when Stephan Rump got the match started through his kick off. 10 minutes into the game, Morgan Ehrencron was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Sørup's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Havsted the free kick. Absalon Eding showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Mikael Kongsnæs, who was totally free with the ball in the 12th minute. If Stephan Rump had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 16th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Morten Rymkier's late challenge caught a Sørup's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Morten Rymkier helped the player get up and apologised. Morten Rymkier kicked well hit freekick during the 19th minute of the match. In the 20thth minute of the game Ulrik Klyn who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Havsted's Absalon Eding was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Stephan Rump sent away a hard shot on goal in the 22nd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Absalon Eding showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Ulrik Klyn, who was totally free with the ball in the 29th minute. 32 minutes into the game, Stephan Rump cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 1-0. Preben Thorkelin was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. The supporters of Havsted booed when Sørup was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 37 match minutes in a wonderful position. Viktor Snoghøj didn't get a good kick on the ball. If Stephan Rump had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 40th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. No-one was surprised that the home team were leading 2-0 at half-time.

Sørup's Preben Thorkelin played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Stephan Rump in the 55th minute of play. In the 63rd minute Karsten Schlottmann shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Preben Thorkelin saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Preben Thorkelin took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Stephan Rump, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After having played for 66 minutes, Stephan Rump managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Havsted's supporters crossed their fingers, but Stephan Rump was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. An unexpectedly hard shot by Ulrik Klyn in the 75th minute of play forced Havsted's goalkeeper Absalon Eding to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 82nd minute, Stephan Rump got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Ulrik Klyn received a nice pass, split the defenders, and ran untouched towards the goal. Absalon Eding came out and tried to block the shot, but Ulrik Klyn slotted it home off the left post making it 3-1 in the 85th minute. Stephan Rump sent away a hard shot on goal in the 89th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Stephan Rump struck a weak shot in the 98th minute. Preben Thorkelin didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Havsted. There was no doubt that Havsted were the better team. Havsted's players enjoyed the ovations of the crowd after the victory.
