When Bobby Linnedal fell near the penalty area in the 3rd minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Horsbyg's protests and gave Bobby Linnedal a yellow card for diving instead. After 3 played minutes Horsbyg got a freekick which was hit by Bobby Linnedal. Jan Naut blasted a shot towards the goal in the 5th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Felix Bøgholt having to make a save. When the match had gone on for 7 minutes, Runar Engebretsen took a quick shot and it went in 1-0 without a chance for Ralph Minuva to make any attempt to save it. Skovsgaarde's Tue Borleif got a good chance for a goal in the 16th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. After a rather tough play, Horsbyg's Runar Engebretsen got a free kick in the 18th minute. 21 minutes into the match, Horsbyg's goal looked a bit too open when Mathias Engager came free, but Felix Bøgholt reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After some fancy dribbling in the 22nd minute, Tue Borleif managed to get in a good position for a shot. Skovsgaarde's supporters rose to their feet, but Tue Borleif was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Felix Bøgholt breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Skovsgaarde's Nis Reyna got a good chance for a goal in the 24th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. An unexpectedly hard shot by William Taagely in the 26th minute of play forced Horsbyg's goalkeeper Felix Bøgholt to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Felix Bøgholt showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Tue Borleif in the 31st minute of the match. The supporters of Horsbyg booed when Skovsgaarde was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 38 match minutes in a wonderful position. Sander Braskhøj didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 40th match minute, Horsbyg was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Jacob Assarsson to maneuver through the defense. Mathias Engager fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 43rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Felix Bøgholt having to interfere. No-one was surprised that the home team were leading 2-0 at half-time.

59 minutes into the match, William Taagely dribbled the ball past the defender and swiftly kicked the ball to the left of Felix Bøgholt, 2-1. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Jacob Assarsson during the 71st minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. Jacob Assarsson hit a great freekick 71 minutes into the match. Skovsgaarde's Mathias Engager shoveled away a really nice long shot in the 72nd minute of play. The shot was stopped by Felix Bøgholt but with some difficulty. Ralph Minuva showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Jacob Assarsson in the 75th minute of the match. Runar Engebretsen scored 3-1 in the 76th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Ralph Minuva, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. An unexpectedly hard shot by Sigvart Lawson in the 80th minute of play forced Skovsgaarde's goalkeeper Ralph Minuva to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 82 minutes into the match, Sigvart Lawson had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Ralph Minuva. Skovsgaarde's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Sigvart Lawson was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 4-1. Mikael Søndertoft's late challenge caught a Skovsgaarde's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Mikael Søndertoft helped the player get up and apologised. The supporters of Skovsgaarde booed when Horsbyg was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 89 match minutes in a wonderful position. Mikael Søndertoft didn't get a good kick on the ball. Jacob Assarsson was shown his second yellow card after 90 minutes, following a rather ugly tackle on opponent. That was the end of his participation in the match. In the 91st match minute, Horsbyg was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Jacob Assarsson to maneuver through the defense. In the 94thth minute of the game Mathias Engager who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Horsbyg's Felix Bøgholt was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. The Horsbyg players were eager to celebrate when the final whistle sounded. They had somehow managed to win, even though the away team had held the majority of the possession.
