The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. 13 minutes into the match, Ejstrup FV's Willy Kjenli sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Felix Bøgholt narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Ejstrup FV's Asfred Bosø played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Runar Engebretsen in the 14th minute of play. In the 15th minute, Runar Engebretsen ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Asfred Bosø was frozen by the shot and now it was 1-1. Vladimir Lyme hit a great freekick 18 minutes into the match. 20 minutes into the match, Horsbyg's goal looked a bit too open when Willy Kjenli came free, but Felix Bøgholt reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Holger Christby kicked well hit freekick during the 25th minute of the match. Felix Bøgholt made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Willy Kjenli in the 28th minute of play. The wind increased when Runar Engebretsen made the kick off in the second half. Runar Engebretsen fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 52nd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Asfred Bosø having to interfere. Danny Wilmerskov hit a great freekick 62 minutes into the match. Terri Bjørnsfort sent away a hard shot on goal in the 65th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Willy Kjenli in the 67th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Felix Bøgholt saved Horsbyg from getting behind. Asfred Bosø made a fantastic save in the 70th minute, when Sigvart Lawson sent off a good shot on target. The audience was convinced that Willy Kjenli's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Felix Bøgholt was relentless in the 73rd minute of the game. A collision led to Horsbyg getting a freekick after 76 minutes play. Jacob Assarsson hit a great ball. Willy Kjenli's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Felix Bøgholt read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 78th minute of play. Sigvart Lawson could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 87th minute of the match, but Asfred Bosø made a huge save. When Eddy Jarlsholm fell near the penalty area in the 87th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Ejstrup FV's protests and gave Eddy Jarlsholm a yellow card for diving instead. The supporters of Horsbyg booed when Ejstrup FV was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 88 match minutes in a wonderful position. Eddy Jarlsholm didn't get a good kick on the ball. When the match had gone on for 91 minutes, Sigvart Lawson put it in 1-2 from a short distance just to the right of Asfred Bosø. The Horsbyg supporters could be heard counting down the last seconds of the match. They errupted in celebration when the whistle blew, knowing Horsbyg would go home with victory in their luggage after a match that easily could have ended differently.
