Jeppe Katring sent away a hard shot on goal in the 7th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. Hannibal Brinkner kicked well hit freekick during the 9th minute of the match. Grårup's Eskild Hofdahl played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Marthin Haagentoft in the 12th minute of play. If Marthin Haagentoft had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 15th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Eskild Hofdahl made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Marthin Haagentoft in the 18th minute of play. In the 19th match minute, Østerholm was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Absalon Harnung to maneuver through the defense. Marthin Haagentoft blasted a shot towards the goal in the 27th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Eskild Hofdahl having to make a save. Eskild Hofdahl made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Hannibal Brinkner in the 32nd minute of play. Eskild Hofdahl showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Marthin Haagentoft in the 33rd minute of the match. In the 46th minute, Absalon Harnung got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. After the first half the score was level. The break gave the players a chance to catch their breath, whilst the managers went over the tactics with them again.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Marthin Haagentoft made a kick off. After having played for 54 minutes, Marthin Haagentoft managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Østerholm's supporters crossed their fingers, but Marthin Haagentoft was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. The audience was convinced that Osvald Børrum's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Sonny Haudrum was relentless in the 56th minute of the game. After 68 minutes, Osvald Børrum made it 1-0 with a short kick to the right side. Østerholm's Sonny Haudrum tried to save the shot but he was too slow in reacting to the shot. The supporters of Grårup booed when Østerholm was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 70 match minutes in a wonderful position. Hannibal Brinkner didn't get a good kick on the ball. Sonny Haudrum showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Laurids Alsdal in the 72nd minute of the match. Absalon Harnung kicked well hit freekick during the 73rd minute of the match. In the 77th minute, Osvald Børrum left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Grårup fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 2-0. Niklaes Lanø hit a great freekick 89 minutes into the match. Eskild Hofdahl showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Marthin Haagentoft, who was totally free with the ball in the 90th minute. When Absalon Harnung was, once again, overly rough in his play he received his second yellow card and was ordered off the ground. 94 minutes had been played. The supporters of Grårup booed when Østerholm was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 94 match minutes in a wonderful position. Absalon Harnung didn't get a good kick on the ball. When Grårup's Laurids Alsdal in the 96th minute got a chance for a shot 96th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Østerholm's goalie prevented a goal. Laurids Alsdal received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 99th minute. Sonny Haudrum tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Østerholm's players left the field with heads hung low after losing a match that had been finely balanced throughout.
