The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. Berndt Vistad fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 3rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Klas Baruah having to interfere. Nik Ejstrup's late challenge caught a Stenbjærg's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Nik Ejstrup helped the player get up and apologised. Nik Ejstrup hit a great freekick 4 minutes into the match. An unexpectedly hard shot by Sven Mondahl in the 5th minute of play forced Torup AC's goalkeeper Klas Baruah to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 6th minute, Gert Brise fired away a killer shot towards the goal that, to the delight of Klas Baruah, passed just outside the right post. In the 9thth minute of the game Sven Mondahl who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Torup AC's Klas Baruah was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Sven Mondahl in the 11th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Klas Baruah prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Gert Brise's shot straight on target was not completely harmless. The ball had pretty good speed, but Klas Baruah firmly grabbed it by the left post. Absalon Lulloff fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 15th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Folmer Pøtter having to interfere. In the 18th minute, Gert Brise got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. 22 minutes into the game, Absalon Lulloff cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 0-1. Folmer Pøtter was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. A collision led to Torup AC getting a freekick after 29 minutes play. Aske Dyrsborg hit a great ball. If Aske Dyrsborg had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 33rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Luck had favoured the away team in the first, and they walked off with a 0-1 lead.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Sven Mondahl to strike the kick off in the second half. An unexpectedly hard shot by Sven Mondahl in the 52nd minute of play forced Torup AC's goalkeeper Klas Baruah to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Stenbjærg's Folmer Pøtter played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Aske Dyrsborg in the 54th minute of play. If Gert Brise had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 59th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Gert Brise sent away a hard shot on goal in the 66th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Absalon Lulloff could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 75th minute of the match, but Folmer Pøtter made a huge save. Absalon Lulloff sent away a hard shot on goal in the 76th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. Gert Brise's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Klas Baruah read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 85th minute of play. The audience was convinced that Sven Mondahl's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Klas Baruah was relentless in the 86th minute of the game. The away crowd were delighted with the way their team had played and cheered loudly when the final whistle sounded. Torup AC walked away with the win, even though the match was close until the end.
