Fjellebro's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Stranderød FC the free kick. Hansmorten Kolind charged in rather forcefully in the 14th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Hansmorten Kolind the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. A collision led to Stranderød FC getting a freekick after 14 minutes play. Hansmorten Kolind hit a great ball. Marvin Seifing showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Hassan Vildrev in the 18th minute of the match. After a defensive mix-up in Fjellebro's zone, Klas Helsgaum stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Åge Jarner came out of the goal and Klas Helsgaum tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. After 25 played minutes Stranderød FC got a freekick which was hit by Günther Høgler. Fjellebro's Rolf Billenstein couldn't find anyone to pass the ball to, so he shot a long shot towards the goal in the 26th minute. The shot went wide which resulted in a goal kick for Stranderød FC. The audience thought a goal was coming when Klas Helsgaum got free with Åge Jarner in the 30th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. In the 31st minute, Tyge Falhøj got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. 34 minutes into the game, Günther Høgler was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Marvin Seifing was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. 46 minutes into the match, Fjellebro's goal looked a bit too open when Cristoffer Lundsvig came free, but Åge Jarner reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Fjellebro's Åge Jarner played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Tyge Falhøj in the 48th minute of play. Disappointed in the 0-1 score, the home team went to the dressing room to adjust tactics for the second half.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Hassan Vildrev stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. A collision led to Fjellebro getting a freekick after 52 minutes play. In the 64th minute, Stranderød FC's goalie took a deep sigh of relief after Timm Vinblad fired away a hard shot that went just outside the left post. Gustav Covdam's late challenge caught a Stranderød FC's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Gustav Covdam helped the player get up and apologised. Tyge Falhøj struck a weak shot in the 70th minute. Åge Jarner didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Stranderød FC.
