Gotfred Leismann could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 3rd minute of the match, but Dirch Glerum made a huge save. In the 3rd minute, Lavindsgaarde FC's Gotfred Leismann ran free of his marker and smoothly shot the ball into the goal behind Dirch Glerum. Dirch Glerum yelled at his defense, as they had left him out to dry. 1-0. Anders Havreland took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from John-Arne Riise, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Dirch Glerum showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Elias Panling, who was totally free with the ball in the 14th minute. In the 14th minute, Lavritz Sommur hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. An unexpectedly hard shot by Laurids Hvenekilde in the 16th minute of play forced Lavindsgaarde FC's goalkeeper Anders Havreland to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. John-Arne Riise might have been able to make a better finish in the 35th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Anders Havreland. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. John-Arne Riise ran back to his position shaking his head. Anders Havreland showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from John-Arne Riise, who was totally free with the ball in the 35th minute. A collision led to Lavindsgaarde FC getting a freekick after 43 minutes play. Eg Flensburg hit a great ball. 44 minutes into the match, Lavindsgaarde FC's goal looked a bit too open when John-Arne Riise came free, but Anders Havreland reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. When Hønning's John-Arne Riise in the 45th minute got a chance for a shot 45th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. Anders Havreland tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. John-Arne Riise fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 91st minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Anders Havreland having to interfere. Lavindsgaarde FC's supporters were delighted with their team's performance and swarmed onto the pitch at the end of the match to celebrate the victory with the players.
