Wahnitz's Werner Bodin played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Nicolas Dieckmann in the 13th minute of play. Werner Bodin showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Nicolas Dieckmann in the 16th minute of the match. fc bayern's Nicolas Dieckmann got a good chance for a goal in the 19th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. After having played for 40 minutes, Mario Mauer managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. fc bayern's supporters crossed their fingers, but Mario Mauer was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Werner Bodin showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Nicolas Dieckmann, who was totally free with the ball in the 42nd minute. The score stood at 0-0 when the half time whistle went. Both sets of players seemed reasonably pleased with how the match was going.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Mario Mauer was the one to do the kick off. An unexpectedly hard shot by Mario Mauer in the 52nd minute of play forced Wahnitz's goalkeeper Werner Bodin to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. fc bayern's Nicolas Dieckmann got a good chance for a goal in the 54th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. The audience thought a goal was coming when Nicolas Dieckmann got free with Werner Bodin in the 56th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Wahnitz's Werner Bodin proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 58th minute of the match, managed to save Wahnitz from getting a goal against them. The audience was convinced that Mario Mauer's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Werner Bodin was relentless in the 65th minute of the game. When Mario Mauer came up free with the goalie in the 67th minute, the fc bayern fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Mario Mauer couldn't finish the play. 68 minutes into the match, fc bayern's Nicolas Dieckmann sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Werner Bodin narrowly saved just below the crossbar. After a defensive mix-up in Wahnitz's zone, Johann Seiffert stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Werner Bodin came out of the goal and Johann Seiffert tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. If Nicolas Dieckmann had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 78th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 80th minute, Johann Seiffert hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Werner Bodin didn't succeed in stopping the ball in the 84th minute, which inside left pole to 0-1. Nicolas Dieckmann recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 89th minute. In the 98th minute fc bayern were awarded a corner. Roman Somnitz went to the cornerflag to take it. fc bayern's Arne Noweck was first on the ball when the corner was shot and he dangerously headed the ball towards goal, but Werner Bodin in the goal jumped up to prevent it from getting in.
