After 3 played minutes Pflanzwirbach got a freekick which was hit by Gismund Böttcher. In the 6th match minute, Pflanzwirbach was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by August Heilmann to maneuver through the defense. A collision led to Plauerhof getting a freekick after 9 minutes play. Sören Bollen hit a great ball. Plauerhof's Julien Euskirchen played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Gismund Böttcher in the 14th minute of play. If Sören Bollen had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 15th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Manfred Ilse might have been able to make a better finish in the 18th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Walter Plotkowiak. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Manfred Ilse ran back to his position shaking his head. Sören Bollen kicked well hit freekick during the 19th minute of the match. Udo Winterhalter sent away a hard shot on goal in the 21st minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 23rd minute Sören Bollen shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Walter Plotkowiak saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. If Sören Bollen had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 25th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Julien Euskirchen showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from August Heilmann in the 27th minute of the match. The referee ignored Plauerhof's protests and gave Sören Bollen a yellow card for diving instead. After a rather tough play, Plauerhof's Sören Bollen got a free kick in the 65th minute. Gismund Böttcher charged in rather forcefully in the 78th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Gismund Böttcher the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. Carsten Koschyk fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 93rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Walter Plotkowiak having to interfere. When the referee blew the final whistle, you could see the dissatisfaction in the Plauerhof players' eyes. They were disappointed they hadn't taken more from the game.
