Robbie Neumann showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Friedemann Gerland, who was totally free with the ball in the 16th minute. Robbie Neumann made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Stephan Schäfer in the 19th minute of play. 21 minutes into the match, Friedemann Gerland had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Robbie Neumann. Hengstbach's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Friedemann Gerland was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 0-3. Henning Schnappauf made an important save on a dangerous shot by Marc Bartels in the 24th minute. In the 26th minute, Joseph Muchow hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. When RedStar's Friedemann Gerland in the 30th minute got a chance for a shot 30th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. In the 35th minute, Mattis Westphal made a precise shot to the right of Robbie Neumann. Hengstbach's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 0-4. In the 42ndth minute of the game Friedemann Gerland who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Hengstbach's Robbie Neumann was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. After having played for 43 minutes, Zoran Wiedenroth managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Hengstbach's supporters crossed their fingers, but Zoran Wiedenroth was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Robbie Neumann showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Friedemann Gerland, who was totally free with the ball in the 46th minute.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Friedemann Gerland was the one to do the kick off. The supporters of Hengstbach booed when RedStar was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 53 match minutes in a wonderful position. Joseph Muchow didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 58th minute Pascal Sommer shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Henning Schnappauf saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Stephan Gorgs during the 59th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. A collision led to Hengstbach getting a freekick after 59 minutes play. Stephan Gorgs hit a great ball. With his leg Robbie Neumann managed to avoid a goal in the 61stth minute, when RedStar's Friedemann Gerland fired away a shot with a lot of spin towards his right hand side. In the 63rd minute of the match, Friedemann Gerland tried to roll the ball into the goal by the right post, but Robbie Neumann saw his intentions and got control of the ball before it passed the line. Pascal Sommer hit a great ball. 80 minutes into the game, Friedemann Gerland lined in a short shot 0-5 behind a frustrated Robbie Neumann. Friedemann Gerland received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 85th minute. Robbie Neumann tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. RedStar's Mattis Westphal got a good chance for a goal in the 86th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. An unexpectedly hard shot by Marc Bartels in the 88th minute of play forced RedStar's goalkeeper Henning Schnappauf to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 89th minute, RedStar's Mattis Westphal ran free of his marker and smoothly shot the ball into the goal behind Robbie Neumann. Robbie Neumann yelled at his defense, as they had left him out to dry. 0-6. Robbie Neumann took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Friedemann Gerland, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. RedStar's fans were overjoyed with their teams well-earned victory and stayed in the stadium long after the final whistle to celebrate the win.
