Spectators: 34 (Terracing: 26, Seating: 8, VIP seats: 0) The sun was shining, the grass was green and the audience cheered when Marvin Opitz got the match started through his kick off. A collision led to Karden FSV getting a freekick after 2 minutes play. Eric Nikisch hit a great ball. An unexpectedly hard shot by Sascha-Andreas Kappestein in the 7th minute of play forced Lindenstruth FC's goalkeeper Herwig Hofstätter to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Karden FSV's Dennis-Sven Drostel got a good chance for a goal in the 8th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. In the 9th match minute, Lindenstruth FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Marvin Opitz to maneuver through the defense. Herwig Hofstätter made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Dennis-Sven Drostel in the 10th minute of play. After some fancy dribbling in the 13th minute, Wolfgang Gerber managed to get in a good position for a shot. Karden FSV's supporters rose to their feet, but Wolfgang Gerber was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Herwig Hofstätter breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Herwig Hofstätter made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Dennis-Sven Drostel in the 15th minute of play. In the 17th minute, Eric Nikisch hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. 18 minutes into the match, Lindenstruth FC's goal looked a bit too open when Wolfgang Gerber came free, but Herwig Hofstätter reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Wolfgang Gerber sent away a hard shot on goal in the 20th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Dennis-Sven Drostel in the 29th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Herwig Hofstätter prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Wolfgang Gerber fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 31st minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Herwig Hofstätter having to interfere. Herwig Hofstätter showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Dennis Wedig in the 35th minute of the match. Karden FSV's Wolfgang Gerber suffered a concussion after 37 minutes and had to leave the field. After 38 played minutes Lindenstruth FC got a freekick which was hit by Lukas Moeskes. Björn Preuss, 39 minutes into the match, dribbled the ball up the side of the field and decided to take a long shot at the goal. Unfortunately, the ball was poorly hit and landed closer to the corner than to the goal. After having played for 44 minutes, Marvin Opitz managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Lindenstruth FC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Marvin Opitz was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Herwig Hofstätter showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Eric Nikisch in the 46th minute of the match.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Dennis-Sven Drostel to strike the kick off in the second half. Marvin Opitz recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 56th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. In the 60th minute, Marvin Opitz got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. 68 minutes into the match, Karden FSV's Björn Preuss broke free and took a long shot that unfortunately flew wide. A fine initiative that could have resulted in a goal. After 70 minutes, Boris Gräfe mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Lindenstruth FC and the Karden FSV players grew even worse after the yellow card. In the 72nd minute, the referee gave Karden FSV a penalty. Björn Preuss looked confident and blasted the ball into goal by the left post, totally unstoppable for Herwig Hofstätter. Dennis-Sven Drostel received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 76th minute. Herwig Hofstätter tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Marvin Opitz hit a great freekick 78 minutes into the match. Herwig Hofstätter made a fantastic save in the 85th minute, when Dennis-Sven Drostel sent off a good shot on target. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Marvin Opitz in the 88th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Tobias Hoffmanns saved Karden FSV from getting behind. 96 minutes into the match, Lindenstruth FC's goalkeeper Herwig Hofstätter had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Dennis-Sven Drostel. After 98 minutes of play, Karden FSV's Dennis-Sven Drostel made it 0-4 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Herwig Hofstätter was left in no man's land by his defense there! The Karden FSV players were relieved to hear the final whistle blow to end the match. The away crowd was happy to see their team win after a very tight game.
