Seating: 8, VIP seats: 0) It was fairly windy and cold on the field when Marc Brandl kicked off to start the match. Ekkehard Scherzer made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Jens Titz in the 3rd minute of play. After 10 minutes, Jens Titz mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Stühren and the Lührsfelde players grew even worse after the yellow card. Jens Titz hit a great freekick 10 minutes into the match. Stuart Wering showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Silvano Paskal, who was totally free with the ball in the 18th minute. Ali Achterbach kicked well hit freekick during the 20th minute of the match. When Stühren's Meikel Miner in the 22nd minute got a chance for a shot 22nd didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Lührsfelde's goalie prevented a goal. Marc Brandl took the ball and in the 28 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Stuart Wering. Stuart Wering dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 1-1. In the 33rd minute, Stühren's Jack-Peter Wirths dribbled the ball into the box and hit a shot with the outside of his foot, sending the keeper the wrong way. 2-1. After a rather tough play, Lührsfelde's Silvano Paskal got a free kick in the 36th minute. Jack-Peter Wirths fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 39th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Ekkehard Scherzer having to interfere. All the noise was coming from the home fans when the whistle went for half-time. The home team had fought hardest to put themselves in a deserved lead.
The audience was convinced that Marc Brandl's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Stuart Wering was relentless in the 59th minute of the game. An unexpectedly hard shot by Meikel Miner in the 63rd minute of play forced Lührsfelde's goalkeeper Ekkehard Scherzer to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Meikel Miner struck a weak shot in the 71st minute. Ekkehard Scherzer didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Stühren. After a defensive mix-up in Lührsfelde's zone, Jens Titz stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Ekkehard Scherzer came out of the goal and Jens Titz tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Jens Titz fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 75th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Ekkehard Scherzer having to interfere. Silvano Paskal fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 78th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Stuart Wering having to interfere. Stuart Wering showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Carlo Hansen, who was totally free with the ball in the 81st minute. Ivo Bäcker hit a great freekick 81 minutes into the match. A collision led to Lührsfelde getting a freekick after 84 minutes play. Maik Michelbach hit a great ball. After having played for 86 minutes, Meikel Miner managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Stühren's supporters crossed their fingers, but Meikel Miner was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. 89 minutes into the match, Stühren's goal looked a bit too open when Carlo Hansen came free, but Stuart Wering reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. The audience was convinced that Meikel Miner's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Ekkehard Scherzer was relentless in the 95th minute of the game.
