Seating: 8, VIP seats: 0) Stühren's Meikel Miner started the match with a crisp pass. The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. 4 minutes into the match, Stühren's goal looked a bit too open when Joel-Benjamin Fiedeler came free, but Stuart Wering reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Meikel Miner recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 6th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. In the 8th match minute, Stühren was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Meikel Miner to maneuver through the defense. Michael Gläsel took a chance and fired a shot far from the goal in the 10th minute, but it turned out to be a dangerous situation for Stuart Wering. Stühren's goalkeeper really had to stretch himself to stop the ball from crossing the goal line. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Marc-Joel Brackheimer in the 12th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Stuart Wering saved Stühren from getting behind. In the 18th minute, Marc-Joel Brackheimer ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Stuart Wering was frozen by the shot and now it was 0-1. After some careless play in the Stühren defense, Michael Mangelmann kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Stuart Wering. The Stühren fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Stuart Wering should have stopped the shot. Stühren's Stuart Wering played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Michael Mangelmann in the 26th minute of play. The supporters of Rehnsdorf FSV booed when Stühren was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 27 match minutes in a wonderful position. Ivo Bäcker didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 28th minute of the match Lars Steppkes shot from a long distance. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Stuart Wering showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. Stühren's Stuart Wering played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Marc-Joel Brackheimer in the 30th minute of play. Meikel Miners short, quick shot in the 40thth minute got Boris Benda to make great effort and bar the ball away from getting in. Stuart Wering took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Marc-Joel Brackheimer, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Jack-Peter Wirths sent away a hard shot on goal in the 44th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. The Stühren players were disheartened as they walked off the pitch after the first half. Rehnsdorf FSV were winning 0-2.
Boris Benda showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Jack-Peter Wirths, who was totally free with the ball in the 54th minute. Rene Kapzan hit a great freekick 55 minutes into the match. With a little luck, Stühren's Stuart Wering got control of the ball when Joel-Benjamin Fiedeler tried to sneak it across the goal line. In the 60th match minute, Rehnsdorf FSV was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Lars Steppkes to maneuver through the defense. The audience was convinced that Meikel Miner's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Boris Benda was relentless in the 62nd minute of the game. After 73 played minutes Stühren got a freekick which was hit by Meikel Miner. Jack-Peter Wirths received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 79th minute. Boris Benda tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. If Meikel Miner had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 82nd minute.
