Friedbert Warschau started the match with the kick off. Steffen Zimmermann charged in rather forcefully in the 4th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Steffen Zimmermann the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. A collision led to Kerkhop getting a freekick after 5 minutes play. Jan-Niclas Ostermann was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. In the 16th minute, Joachim Ayim got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Markus Katzwinkel's late challenge caught a ISSOISSO YOY's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Markus Katzwinkel helped the player get up and apologised. After a rather tough play, Kerkhop's Markus Katzwinkel got a free kick in the 19th minute. The crowd rose to their feet as ISSOISSO YOY's Friedbert Warschau slotted home a wonderful shot that went in to the left of Jan-Niclas Ostermann. That made the score 2-0 after 23 minutes of play. Wilfried Kleinmann kicked well hit freekick during the 26th minute of the match. In the 27th match minute, Kerkhop was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Markus Katzwinkel to maneuver through the defense. Joachim Ayim fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 28th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Jan-Niclas Ostermann having to interfere. Jan-Niclas Ostermann showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Joachim Ayim, who was totally free with the ball in the 30th minute. 33 minutes into the match, Kerkhop's goalkeeper Jan-Niclas Ostermann had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Berko Flanz. Friedbert Warschau fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 35th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Jan-Niclas Ostermann having to interfere. If Joachim Ayim had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 42nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. 45 minutes into the match, Anton Hägele had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Brandon Irmisch. ISSOISSO YOY's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Anton Hägele was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 2-1. The away team players looked dejected as the walked off the pitch at half time. They had fought hard, but were still losing 2-1.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Markus Katzwinkel was the one to do the kick off. Kerkhop's Markus Katzwinkel got a good chance for a goal in the 52nd minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. When Marc-Joel Hauck fell near the penalty area in the 54th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Kerkhop's protests and gave Marc-Joel Hauck a yellow card for diving instead. Marc-Joel Hauck hit a great freekick 54 minutes into the match. Philipp Schäfer received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 61st minute. Brandon Irmisch tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. ISSOISSO YOY's Brandon Irmisch proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 64th minute of the match, managed to save ISSOISSO YOY from getting a goal against them.
