After 10 minutes, Tyron Hachmann mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Alemannia Aachen and the Rüsfort FC players grew even worse after the yellow card. After a rather tough play, Alemannia Aachen's Tyron Hachmann got a free kick in the 10th minute. In the 15th minute Mattias Scholl shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Timofej Vogel saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. An unexpectedly hard shot by Mattias Scholl in the 19th minute of play forced Rüsfort FC's goalkeeper Timofej Vogel to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Sergio Kößler kicked well hit freekick during the 20th minute of the match. The audience thought a goal was coming when Jostein Terstappen got free with Timofej Vogel in the 24th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. 26 minutes into the match, Rüsfort FC's goalkeeper Timofej Vogel had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Jostein Terstappen. Jostein Terstappen could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 29th minute of the match, but Timofej Vogel made a huge save. 37 minutes into the match, Rüsfort FC's goal looked a bit too open when Mattias Scholl came free, but Timofej Vogel reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Mattias Scholl fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 38th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Timofej Vogel having to interfere. If Roland Schüttler had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 41st minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After having played for 43 minutes, Ricardo Polenz managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Rüsfort FC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Ricardo Polenz was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Alemannia Aachen's Jostein Terstappen got a good chance for a goal in the 47th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. After 48 played minutes Rüsfort FC got a freekick which was hit by Tristan Eichel.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Mattias Scholl made a kick off. Mattias Scholl fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 55th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Timofej Vogel having to interfere. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Edmund Czerwinsky during the 56th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. After 56 played minutes Rüsfort FC got a freekick which was hit by Edmund Czerwinsky. Mattias Scholl received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 57th minute. Timofej Vogel tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Jostein Terstappen struck a weak shot in the 59th minute. Timofej Vogel didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Alemannia Aachen. Timofej Vogel took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Mattias Scholl, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Jostein Terstappen took the ball and in the 69 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Timofej Vogel. Timofej Vogel dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 1-0. Jörg Utzig sent away a hard shot on goal in the 74th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. 77 minutes into the match, Rüsfort FC's Ricardo Polenz sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Gerhard Zabel narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Ricardo Polenz could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 80th minute of the match, but Gerhard Zabel made a huge save. In the 80th minute, Tyron Hachmann hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Thanks to some nice moves Ricardo Polenz could shoot a difficult shot in the 82nd minute, which Gerhard Zabel however easily saved by the left post. Gerhard Zabel showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Jörg Utzig in the 86th minute of the match. The audience was convinced that Jostein Terstappen's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Timofej Vogel was relentless in the 92nd minute of the game. The supporters of Rüsfort FC booed when Alemannia Aachen was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 95 match minutes in a wonderful position. Tyron Hachmann didn't get a good kick on the ball.
