Seating: 8, VIP seats: 0) It was fairly windy and cold on the field when Markus Dramsch kicked off to start the match. The nice shot from Daniel Linhorst in the 5thth minute just in front of the goal should have ended in point on the board, but Emil Fritzsch had a great feel for the game and superbly saved the ball from getting in by the left post. When Hans-Peter Rohr came up free with the goalie in the 9th minute, the Vicht fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Hans-Peter Rohr couldn't finish the play. When Ralf Hofrichter fell near the penalty area in the 19th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Vicht's protests and gave Ralf Hofrichter a yellow card for diving instead. In the 20th match minute, Vicht was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Ralf Hofrichter to maneuver through the defense. In the 21st minute the ball was on its way in behind Vicht's goalkeeper Paul Kanters, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Boris Hartmann placed the ball on the penalty spot and got himself ready to shoot. Post out! An unexpectedly hard shot by Markus Dramsch in the 35th minute of play forced Vicht's goalkeeper Paul Kanters to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Helstorf FSV's Bert Prinz got a good chance for a goal in the 36th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Vicht's Paul Kanters played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Markus Dramsch in the 38th minute of play. Daniel Linhorst sent away a hard shot on goal in the 40th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. Helstorf FSV's Emil Fritzsch played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Hans-Peter Rohr in the 41st minute of play. 44 minutes into the match, Helstorf FSV's goal looked a bit too open when Hans-Peter Rohr came free, but Emil Fritzsch reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Markus Dramsch struck a weak shot in the 45th minute. Paul Kanters didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Helstorf FSV. Hartwig Spaniol sent away a hard shot on goal in the 47th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. After a very even first half the match was still tied. The players went to their respective dressing rooms to discuss the tactics for the second half.
The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Hans-Peter Rohr to strike the kick off in the second half. When Bert Prinz came up free with the goalie in the 51st minute, the Helstorf FSV fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Bert Prinz couldn't finish the play. Markus Dramsch kicked well hit freekick during the 53rd minute of the match. Emil Fritzsch came out of the goal in the 62nd minute to try and stop a shot by Vicht's Daniel Linhorst. But to his dismay, Daniel Linhorst quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 1-0. In the 66th minute Daniel Linhorst shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Emil Fritzsch saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 67th minute, Hans-Peter Rohr made a precise shot to the right of Emil Fritzsch. Helstorf FSV's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 2-0. Emil Fritzsch took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Daniel Linhorst, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 75th minute, Peter Wengle hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Daniel Linhorst fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 76th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Emil Fritzsch having to interfere. After 81 played minutes Helstorf FSV got a freekick which was hit by Bert Prinz. After 82 played minutes, Vicht's Boris Hartmann shot from a long distance, and at first it looked like the ball was going into the goal, but the goalkeeper Emil Fritzsch came through and got his fingers on the ball before it flew over the goal line. He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in Vicht reached it. Hans-Peter Rohr sent away a hard shot on goal in the 85th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Daniel Linhorst recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 88th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. When Bert Prinz came up free with the goalie in the 93rd minute, the Helstorf FSV fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Bert Prinz couldn't finish the play. Emil Fritzsch showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Hans-Peter Rohr, who was totally free with the ball in the 95th minute.
