Jan Zweig made an important save on a dangerous shot by Henri Schmalacker in the 8th minute. Henri Schmalackers short, quick shot in the 10thth minute got Jan Zweig to make great effort and bar the ball away from getting in. After having played for 26 minutes, Henri Schmalacker managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Klein Eissel FC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Henri Schmalacker was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Jan Zweig made an important save on a dangerous shot by Henri Schmalacker in the 34th minute. In the 36th minute the ball was on its way in behind Groß Schweep's goalkeeper Jan Zweig, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. In the 40th minute, Volkhard Jacob got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Wilken Wohl charged in rather forcefully in the 46th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Wilken Wohl the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. The fans had the chance to grab some refreshments as the whistle went for half-time. The score stood at 0-0 after a close first half.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Phil Braun stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Volkhard Jacob sent away a hard shot on goal in the 56th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. York Hundelshausen hit a great freekick 57 minutes into the match. When Henri Schmalacker came up free with the goalie in the 58th minute, the Klein Eissel FC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Henri Schmalacker couldn't finish the play. Klein Eissel FC's Reinald Brassat played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Kay Schröder in the 64th minute of play. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Jakob Pfannkuch during the 65th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. Jakob Pfannkuch hit a great freekick 65 minutes into the match. Reinald Brassat acted impressively in front of the goal and made a superb save when he, in the 66th minute, took the ball on the long shot from Toni Kleidermann. Phil Braun recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 69th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. 73 minutes into the match, Klein Eissel FC's goal looked a bit too open when Phil Braun came free, but Reinald Brassat reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Phil Braun in the 76th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Reinald Brassat saved Klein Eissel FC from getting behind. After some careless play in the Groß Schweep defense, Volkhard Jacob kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Jan Zweig. The Groß Schweep fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Jan Zweig should have stopped the shot. Jan Zweig made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Henri Schmalacker in the 86th minute of play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Henri Schmalacker in the 86th minute of play forced Groß Schweep's goalkeeper Jan Zweig to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Reinald Brassat showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Phil Braun, who was totally free with the ball in the 88th minute. The audience thought a goal was coming when Phil Braun got free with Reinald Brassat in the 92nd minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. 94 minutes into the match, Klein Eissel FC's Wiggo Butkus sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Jan Zweig narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Wiggo Butkus received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 96th minute. Jan Zweig tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. For all the effort they put into the match, the Groß Schweep players left disappointed. They had fought hard, but couldn't break down the home team's defense. The match ended in a win for Klein Eissel FC.
