Takeshi Schmitz received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 5th minute. Bastian Wilhelm tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Dustin Bickelhaupt might have been able to make a better finish in the 6th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Bastian Wilhelm. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Dustin Bickelhaupt ran back to his position shaking his head. A collision led to Motzen FSV getting a freekick after 7 minutes play. Per-Otto Gaab hit a great ball. Bastian Wilhelm took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Takeshi Schmitz, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. 9 minutes into the game, Marcel Butenschön cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 1-0. Josef Spangenberg was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. An unexpectedly hard shot by Dustin Bickelhaupt in the 12th minute of play forced Motzen FSV's goalkeeper Bastian Wilhelm to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Per-Otto Gaab charged in rather forcefully in the 13th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Per-Otto Gaab the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. Per-Otto Gaab kicked well hit freekick during the 13th minute of the match. Takeshi Schmitz sent away a hard shot on goal in the 38th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Dennis Winter fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 40th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Josef Spangenberg having to interfere. Tim-Sebastian Malliouris hit a great freekick 41 minutes into the match.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Takeshi Schmitz made a kick off. 51 minutes into the match, Motzen FSV's Dennis Winter sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Josef Spangenberg narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Dustin Bickelhaupt took the ball and in the 56 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Bastian Wilhelm. Bastian Wilhelm dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 1-1. Dustin Bickelhaupt blasted a shot towards the goal in the 64th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Bastian Wilhelm having to make a save. Dustin Bickelhaupt received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 69th minute. Bastian Wilhelm tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. If Dustin Bickelhaupt had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 71st minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Wißgoldingen's Josef Spangenberg played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Dennis Winter in the 79th minute of play. In the 79th match minute, Wißgoldingen was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Dag Fiolka to maneuver through the defense. Dennis Winter fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 86th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Josef Spangenberg having to interfere. If Takeshi Schmitz had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 91st minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Dustin Bickelhaupt could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 94th minute of the match, but Bastian Wilhelm made a huge save.
