Spectators: 34 (Terracing: 26, Seating: 8, VIP seats: 0) Dark clouds were building up when the players entered the field. None of the them looked very eager to play. Ingbert Friedrich started the match with the kick off. 3 minutes into the match, 1.FC Genius78's goal looked a bit too open when Akira Appel came free, but Harald Schrage reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. If Marius Grill had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 6th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 7th match minute, Engelstadt FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Burt Tanne to maneuver through the defense. Cord Schekorr hit a great freekick 8 minutes into the match. Akira Appel fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 10th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Harald Schrage having to interfere. Ingbert Friedrich fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 11th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Harald Schrage having to interfere. Jorge Silberhorn took a chance and fired a shot far from the goal in the 18th minute, but it turned out to be a dangerous situation for Harald Schrage. 1.FC Genius78's goalkeeper really had to stretch himself to stop the ball from crossing the goal line. After a rather tough play, 1.FC Genius78's Steffen Bruhnke got a free kick in the 18th minute. The audience thought a goal was coming when Konrad Penneke got free with Ove Tokody in the 22nd minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Akira Appel received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 24th minute. Harald Schrage tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After a defensive mix-up in 1.FC Genius78's zone, Akira Appel stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Harald Schrage came out of the goal and Akira Appel tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. When Konrad Penneke fell near the penalty area in the 30th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored 1.FC Genius78's protests and gave Konrad Penneke a yellow card for diving instead. In the 32nd minute, Wolf Stubbe hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. With an all-out effort, 1.FC Genius78's Ove Tokody threw himself towards the right post 33 minutes into the match and grabbed hold of the ball from Marius Grill, which otherwise would have been placed in the net. Keith Clade hit a great freekick 35 minutes into the match. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Marius Grill in the 39th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Ove Tokody saved Engelstadt FC from getting behind. Jens Kanzleiter struck a weak shot in the 45th minute. Ove Tokody didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for 1.FC Genius78. Konrad Penneke sent away a hard shot on goal in the 47th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. After fighting hard for a draw in the first half, the players were able to take a much needed rest.

When Konrad Penneke was, once again, overly rough in his play he received his second yellow card and was ordered off the ground. 52 minutes had been played. Ove Tokody took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Marius Grill, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Marius Grill blasted a shot towards the goal in the 58th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Ove Tokody having to make a save. Steffen Bruhnke received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 60th minute. Ove Tokody tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 62nd minute, Marius Grill got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Burt Tanne charged in rather forcefully in the 63rd minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Burt Tanne the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. The supporters of 1.FC Genius78 booed when Engelstadt FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 63 match minutes in a wonderful position. Burt Tanne didn't get a good kick on the ball. Marius Grill fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 66th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Ove Tokody having to interfere. After a defensive mix-up in Engelstadt FC's zone, Marius Grill stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Ove Tokody came out of the goal and Marius Grill tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. David Plückebaum scored 1-0 in the 70th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Ove Tokody, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Ove Tokody took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Marius Grill, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Rudolf Krampitz received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 82nd minute. Ove Tokody tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. An unexpectedly hard shot by Cord Schekorr in the 84th minute of play forced Engelstadt FC's goalkeeper Ove Tokody to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 85th minute, Marius Grill got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. If Marius Grill had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 89th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. 92 minutes into the match, 1.FC Genius78's goalkeeper Harald Schrage had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Akira Appel. 1.FC Genius78 walked away with a well-earned victory that was much celebrated by the crowd.
