In the 5th minute, Fehrlingsen's Alexander Hens ran free of his marker and smoothly shot the ball into the goal behind Aloys Baumann. Aloys Baumann yelled at his defense, as they had left him out to dry. 1-0. After a rather tough play, Fehrlingsen's Martin Base got a free kick in the 8th minute. Adnan Buckmüller showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Gaspard Seib, who was totally free with the ball in the 13th minute. 16 minutes into the game, Gaspard Seib cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 1-1. Adnan Buckmüller was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Adnan Buckmüller stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Gaspard Seib's shot from short distance in the 27th minute. If Gaspard Seib had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 29th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. If Luca Ebert had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 31st minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Burkhardt Prüll received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 34th minute. Adnan Buckmüller tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 35th match minute, Wellerstadt was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Gaspard Seib to maneuver through the defense. In the 44th minute Piotr Terbeck shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Adnan Buckmüller saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Gaspard Seib succeeded in the game's 45th minute to shoot an unreachable shot under the crossbar and scored - 1-2.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Slavko Bender stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. In the 56th match minute, Fehrlingsen was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Hanns Lorenz to maneuver through the defense. When Hanns Lorenz fell near the penalty area in the 57th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Fehrlingsen's protests and gave Hanns Lorenz a yellow card for diving instead. The supporters of Wellerstadt booed when Fehrlingsen was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 57 match minutes in a wonderful position. Hanns Lorenz didn't get a good kick on the ball. Adnan Buckmüller was out of position in the 60 minute of play, and Piotr Terbeck capitalized on the mistake with a soft shot into the goal. Piotr Terbeck really showed his touch with that goal: 1-3. Adnan Buckmüller didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Gaspard Seib went, in the 64th minute, to the upper right corner, 1-4 was the resulting score. 67 minutes into the match, Gaspard Seib had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Adnan Buckmüller. Fehrlingsen's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Gaspard Seib was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 1-5. Fehrlingsen's Adnan Buckmüller played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Luca Ebert in the 73rd minute of play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Eskil Bodensieck in the 76th minute of play forced Wellerstadt's goalkeeper Aloys Baumann to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. The Wellerstadt fans' excitement grew in the 79th match minute when Wellerstadt's Gaspard Seib looked to have a clear shot with the ball near the goal. The shot wasn't hard, but the ball still rolled over the goal line to make it 1-6 before the goalkeeper had a chance to intervene. If Luca Ebert had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 83rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 85th minute, Fehrlingsen's goalie took a deep sigh of relief after Luca Ebert fired away a hard shot that went just outside the left post. Adnan Buckmüller made an important save on a dangerous shot by Gaspard Seib in the 90th minute. Burkhardt Prüll succeeded in the game's 91st minute to shoot an unreachable shot under the crossbar and scored - 1-7. Wellerstadt's Luca Ebert got a good chance for a goal in the 96th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Wellerstadt played a much better game than Fehrlingsen and deserved their victory. The Fehrlingsen players were clearly disappointed as they left the ground.
