After having played for 14 minutes, Gaspard Seib managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Wellerstadt's supporters crossed their fingers, but Gaspard Seib was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Dierk Narten showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Gaspard Seib, who was totally free with the ball in the 16th minute. Dierk Narten took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Luca Ebert, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. The audience thought a goal was coming when Alwin Sutter got free with Aloys Baumann in the 20th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. 22 minutes into the match, FC.Rot Weiß Berlin's goal looked a bit too open when Gaspard Seib came free, but Dierk Narten reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Wellerstadt's supporters rose to their feet, but Gaspard Seib was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Dierk Narten breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. The wind increased when Dimo Schoettle made the kick off in the second half. In the 54th minute of the match Wilfried Heil sent off a long shot with destination to the right of the goalkeeper, but Aloys Baumann skillfully saved the ball. Aloys Baumann took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Dimo Schoettle, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Wellerstadt's Gaspard Seib got a good chance for a goal in the 56th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. In the 59th minute the ball was on its way in behind FC.Rot Weiß Berlin's goalkeeper Dierk Narten, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Wellerstadt's Aloys Baumann played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Alwin Sutter in the 63rd minute of play. In the 65th minute Dimo Schoettle shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Aloys Baumann saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Gaspard Seib fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 68th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Dierk Narten having to interfere. 72 minutes into the match, Luca Ebert dribbled the ball past the defender and swiftly kicked the ball to the left of Dierk Narten, 0-3. In the 81st minute, Gaspard Seib made a precise shot to the right of Dierk Narten. FC.Rot Weiß Berlin's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 0-4. The supporters of FC.Rot Weiß Berlin booed when Wellerstadt was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 86 match minutes in a wonderful position. Frédson Simão didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 89th minute, Burkhardt Prüll hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Dierk Narten made an important save on a dangerous shot by Gaspard Seib in the 91st minute. Gaspard Seib recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 95th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Dierk Narten showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Piotr Terbeck in the 96th minute of the match. The FC.Rot Weiß Berlin fans had already started to leave before the final whistle blew. Wellerstadt were clearly better and deserved to take the win.
