Spectators: 34 (Terracing: 26, Seating: 8, VIP seats: 0) Pavel Apostu's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Eike Klöck read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 13th minute of play. Pavel Apostu hit a great freekick 15 minutes into the match. After a rather tough play, Cafe Erciyes FSV's Wolf-Rüdiger Reh got a free kick in the 19th minute. When Renatus Maier came up free with the goalie in the 21st minute, the Groß Gaddau fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Renatus Maier couldn't finish the play. Renatus Maier sent away a hard shot on goal in the 25th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Markus Kania received a nice pass, split the defenders, and ran untouched towards the goal. Eike Klöck came out and tried to block the shot, but Markus Kania slotted it home off the left post making it 1-0 in the 28th minute. 31 minutes into the match, Groß Gaddau's goal looked a bit too open when Markus Kania came free, but Eike Klöck reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 33rd minute, Pavel Apostu hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Groß Gaddau's Amadeo von der Beck couldn't find anyone to pass the ball to, so he shot a long shot towards the goal in the 34th minute. The shot went wide which resulted in a goal kick for Cafe Erciyes FSV. In the 37th minute Pavel Apostu shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Eike Klöck saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. An unexpectedly hard shot by Hennes Pickartz in the 40th minute of play forced Cafe Erciyes FSV's goalkeeper Harald Pautsch to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After a rather tough play, Cafe Erciyes FSV's Wolf-Rüdiger Reh got a free kick in the 45th minute. In the 46th minute Renatus Maier shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Harald Pautsch saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. The home fans were very happy to see their team leading 1-0 at half-time.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Hennes Pickartz stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Renatus Maier received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 53rd minute. Harald Pautsch tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After having played for 56 minutes, Renatus Maier managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Groß Gaddau's supporters crossed their fingers, but Renatus Maier was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. In the 59th minute, Renatus Maier left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Groß Gaddau fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 1-1. If Renatus Maier had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 68th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Hennes Pickartz in the 71st managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Harald Pautsch saved Cafe Erciyes FSV from getting behind. Cafe Erciyes FSV's defense didn't have a chance, in the 73rd minute, when Hennes Pickartz scored to the left of an out of position Harald Pautsch, making the score, 1-2. Hennes Pickartz fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 75th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Harald Pautsch having to interfere. Markus Kania fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 77th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Eike Klöck having to interfere. Markus Kania struck a weak shot in the 85th minute. Eike Klöck didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Cafe Erciyes FSV. Harald Pautsch took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Hennes Pickartz, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. The Groß Gaddau supporters could be heard counting down the last seconds of the match. They errupted in celebration when the whistle blew, knowing Groß Gaddau would go home with victory in their luggage after a match that easily could have ended differently.
