Schlicherum FC's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Niederreißen FC the free kick. A collision led to Schlicherum FC getting a freekick after 4 minutes play. Steffen Laeger hit a great ball. The referee blew the whistle for a penalty in the 8th minute of the game. One of Schlicherum FC:s players had nearly got his shirt torn off by an opponent while getting free in front of Niederreißen FC:s goal. 1-0 came through a penalty shot after 9 played minutes, when Niederreißen FC:s Burkhard Bar calmly waited for Schlicherum FC:s goalkeeper to move before he rolled in the ball by the right post. In the 14th match minute, Schlicherum FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Joshua Probst to maneuver through the defense. After a defensive mix-up in Schlicherum FC's zone, Rudolf Maurus stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Hermann Pätzold came out of the goal and Rudolf Maurus tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Jochen Trimpin might have been able to make a better finish in the 16th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Hermann Pätzold. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Jochen Trimpin ran back to his position shaking his head. Rudolf Maurus sent away a hard shot on goal in the 16th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. The audience was convinced that Rudolf Maurus's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Hermann Pätzold was relentless in the 24th minute of the game. After a rather tough play, Niederreißen FC's Lew Meuleners got a free kick in the 31st minute. Schlicherum FC's Hermann Pätzold played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Rudolf Maurus in the 35th minute of play. The audience was convinced that Rudolf Maurus's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Hermann Pätzold was relentless in the 40th minute of the game. Jochen Trimpin received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 42nd minute. Hermann Pätzold tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. A collision led to Schlicherum FC getting a freekick after 46 minutes play. Joshua Probst hit a great ball. After fighting hard for a draw in the first half, the players were able to take a much needed rest.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Elard von den Driesch was the one to do the kick off. In the 52nd minute, Rudolf Maurus made a precise shot to the right of Hermann Pätzold. Schlicherum FC's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 2-1. Anton Bierkamp recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 57th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. In the 58th minute, Rudolf Maurus got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. After a rather tough play, Schlicherum FC's Jakob Rosen got a free kick in the 65th minute. After 73 played minutes Niederreißen FC got a freekick which was hit by Lance Gödicke. Dieter Voß could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 74th minute of the match, but Ladislaus Sieger made a huge save. Hermann Pätzold showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Rudolf Maurus in the 76th minute of the match. Lew Meuleners received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 79th minute. Hermann Pätzold tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. 85 minutes into the match, Lew Meuleners had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Hermann Pätzold. Schlicherum FC's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Lew Meuleners was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 4-1. The supporters of Niederreißen FC booed when Schlicherum FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 88 match minutes in a wonderful position. Jakob Rosen didn't get a good kick on the ball. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Jochen Trimpin in the 92nd managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Hermann Pätzold saved Schlicherum FC from getting behind.
