Bastian Gaertner was in the perfect position, and the defense had done a good job marking him, but Ekke Haase showcased his skills and made a perfect shot to score 1-0 in the 19 minute of play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Christopher Naber in the 24th minute of play forced SSV Lüdenscheid's goalkeeper Benno Schumann to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Roland-Nicolas Jory sent away a hard shot on goal in the 25th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. After 39 minutes, Gregorij Braun mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the SSV Lüdenscheid and the Ellenstedt FC players grew even worse after the yellow card. In the 39th match minute, SSV Lüdenscheid was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Gregorij Braun to maneuver through the defense. The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Christian Mühlfort was the one to do the kick off. Benno Schumann made an important save on a dangerous shot by Roland-Nicolas Jory in the 52nd minute. In the 54th minute, Ekke Haase made a precise shot to the right of Bastian Gaertner. Ellenstedt FC's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 3-0. When Christian Mühlfort came up free with the goalie in the 57th minute, the SSV Lüdenscheid fans jumped to their feet. SSV Lüdenscheid's Christian Mühlfort got a good chance for a goal in the 72nd minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Leon Gehnen kicked well hit freekick during the 75th minute of the match. If Christian Mühlfort had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 84th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. A collision led to Ellenstedt FC getting a freekick after 86 minutes play. Leon Gehnen hit a great ball. Christian Mühlfort fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 91st minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Bastian Gaertner having to interfere. SSV Lüdenscheid's Gregorij Braun got his second yellow card of the match in the 95th minute. The referee ordered Gregorij Braun off the ground. There was no doubt that SSV Lüdenscheid were the better team. SSV Lüdenscheid's players enjoyed the ovations of the crowd after the victory.
