Seating: 8, VIP seats: 0) Lauterschwan's Dominik Schmitt started the match with a crisp pass. The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. Meik Locherer showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Dominik Schmitt in the 5th minute of the match. Till Bullinger struck a weak shot in the 9th minute. Philipp Böckels didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Wedehorn. Juliane Schauws hit a great freekick 12 minutes into the match. Severin Westrich kicked well hit freekick during the 16th minute of the match. Philipp Böckels made an important save on a dangerous shot by Leik Bansen in the 18th minute. Till Bullinger charged in rather forcefully in the 22nd minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Till Bullinger the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. A collision led to Wedehorn getting a freekick after 22 minutes play. Till Bullinger hit a great ball. After 26 minutes of play, the referee blew the whistle. It was a penalty for Wedehorn! Lauterschwan's Philipp Böckels played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Meral Ehses in the 35th minute of play. Till Bullinger fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 36th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Philipp Böckels having to interfere. Dominik Schmitt sent away a hard shot on goal in the 42nd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. A collision led to Wedehorn getting a freekick after 43 minutes play. Till Bullinger hit a great ball. An unexpectedly hard shot by Dominik Schmitt in the 47th minute of play forced Wedehorn's goalkeeper Meik Locherer to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. The first half was very even, with the score at 1-1 when the whistle went for half-time. The players welcomed the break and quickly retired to the dressing rooms.
Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Till Bullinger to make the kick off. In the 52nd minute the ball was on its way in behind Wedehorn's goalkeeper Meik Locherer, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Through an outstanding action, after 56 minutes, Meik Locherer successfully got his hands on the ball before it slid into the goal at the right post. Till Bullinger fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 57th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Philipp Böckels having to interfere. Helmke Hofer kicked well hit freekick during the 58th minute of the match. After having played for 62 minutes, Till Bullinger managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Wedehorn's supporters crossed their fingers, but Till Bullinger was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Philipp Böckels made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Till Bullinger in the 66th minute of play. In the 68th minute, Lauterschwan's Dominik Schmitt ran free of his marker and smoothly shot the ball into the goal behind Meik Locherer. Meik Locherer yelled at his defense, as they had left him out to dry. 1-2. 71 minutes into the match, Dierk Siebelt had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Meik Locherer. Wedehorn's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Dierk Siebelt was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 1-3. Till Bullinger took the ball and in the 74 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Philipp Böckels. Philipp Böckels dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 2-3. After a defensive mix-up in Wedehorn's zone, Dierk Siebelt stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Meik Locherer came out of the goal and Dierk Siebelt tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Meik Locherer made an important save on a dangerous shot by Dierk Siebelt in the 79th minute. In the 96th minute, Helmke Hofer hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. When the final whistle went the supporters of Lauterschwan were delighted that their team had defeated the much more dominant Wedehorn side.
