Spectators: 34 (Terracing: 26, Seating: 8, VIP seats: 0) Ralf-Joachim Helpenstein started the match with the kick off in front of an excited audience. Helmut Finnern made an important save on a dangerous shot by Dario Pollakowski in the 3rd minute. August Anders kicked well hit freekick during the 4th minute of the match. Steven Seelmann hit a great freekick 6 minutes into the match. Kevin Potulski came out of the goal in the 7th minute to try and stop a shot by Wendlingen Am Neckar FSV's Stefan Roth. But to his dismay, Stefan Roth quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-1. In the 11th minute the ball was on its way in behind Wendlingen Am Neckar FSV's goalkeeper Helmut Finnern, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. When Dennis Böggemann came up free with the goalie in the 16th minute, the Rödder FSV fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Dennis Böggemann couldn't finish the play. 19 minutes into the match, Wendlingen Am Neckar FSV's Friedemann Grooten sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Kevin Potulski narrowly saved just below the crossbar. After 21 played minutes Rödder FSV got a freekick which was hit by Steven Seelmann. Dario Pollakowski fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 27th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Helmut Finnern having to interfere. Dario Pollakowski could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 29th minute of the match, but Helmut Finnern made a huge save. Hauke Kurze hit a great freekick 32 minutes into the match. In the 41st match minute, Rödder FSV was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Sebastian Lachenmaier to maneuver through the defense. Friedemann Grooten sent away a hard shot on goal in the 45th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. The Rödder FSV players were disheartened as they walked off the pitch after the first half. Wendlingen Am Neckar FSV were winning 0-1.

In the 54th minute, Friedemann Grooten left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Wendlingen Am Neckar FSV fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 0-2. After 57 played minutes Wendlingen Am Neckar FSV got a freekick which was hit by Theobald Ahlswede. Friedemann Grooten sent away a hard shot on goal in the 62nd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. 70 minutes into the match, Rödder FSV's goal looked a bit too open when Stefan Roth came free, but Kevin Potulski reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Dario Pollakowski's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Helmut Finnern read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 74th minute of play. Helmut Finnern made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Dario Pollakowski in the 80th minute of play. In the 82nd minute of the match Hauke Kurze shot from a long distance. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Kevin Potulski showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. With his leg Kevin Potulski managed to avoid a goal in the 85thth minute, when Wendlingen Am Neckar FSV's Friedemann Grooten fired away a shot with a lot of spin towards his right hand side. 88 minutes into the game, Dario Pollakowski cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 1-2. Helmut Finnern was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Ralf-Joachim Helpenstein received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 96th minute. Helmut Finnern tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere.
