Spectators: 34 (Terracing: 26, Seating: 8, VIP seats: 0) Rödder FSV's Ralf-Joachim Helpenstein started the match with a crisp pass. The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. Leik Bansen fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 2nd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Kevin Potulski having to interfere. 4 minutes into the game, Sebastian Lachenmaier was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Rödder FSV's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Wedehorn the free kick. Sebastian Lachenmaier kicked well hit freekick during the 4th minute of the match. Dario Pollakowski could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 12th minute of the match, but Meik Locherer made a huge save. Ralf-Joachim Helpenstein kicked well hit freekick during the 13th minute of the match. If Ralf-Joachim Helpenstein had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 18th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. An unexpectedly hard shot by Ralf-Joachim Helpenstein in the 22nd minute of play forced Wedehorn's goalkeeper Meik Locherer to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. If Ralf-Joachim Helpenstein had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 23rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. With an all-out effort, Rödder FSV's Meik Locherer threw himself towards the right post 28 minutes into the match and grabbed hold of the ball from Ralf-Joachim Helpenstein, which otherwise would have been placed in the net. Meik Locherer was out of position in the 33 minute of play, and Ralf-Joachim Helpenstein capitalized on the mistake with a soft shot into the goal. Ralf-Joachim Helpenstein really showed his touch with that goal: 1-0. 40 minutes into the game, Wedehorn's Leik Bansen nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Kevin Potulski made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 1-1. In the 44thth minute of the game Ralf-Joachim Helpenstein who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Wedehorn's Meik Locherer was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. The score stood at 1-1 when the half time whistle went. Both sets of players seemed reasonably pleased with how the match was going.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Till Bullinger stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. After a rather tough play, Wedehorn's Nikolas Roeloffzen got a free kick in the 53rd minute. In the 61st minute Ralf-Joachim Helpenstein shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Meik Locherer saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After some careless play in the Wedehorn defense, Ralf-Joachim Helpenstein kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Meik Locherer. The Wedehorn fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Meik Locherer should have stopped the shot. Meik Locherer made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Dennis Böggemann in the 68th minute of play. Rödder FSV's attack was well implemented in the 72nd minute, but when Ralf-Joachim Helpenstein was about to shoot he didn't get a good hit on the ball and it hit the crossbar and flew over. Goal Kick. After 81 minutes, Ralf-Joachim Helpenstein made it 3-1 with a short kick to the right side. Wedehorn's Meik Locherer tried to save the shot but he was too slow in reacting to the shot. Ralf-Joachim Helpenstein received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 85th minute. Meik Locherer tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. An unexpectedly hard shot by Ralf-Joachim Helpenstein in the 86th minute of play forced Wedehorn's goalkeeper Meik Locherer to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After 89 minutes, Leik Bansen mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Wedehorn and the Rödder FSV players grew even worse after the yellow card. The supporters of Rödder FSV booed when Wedehorn was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 89 match minutes in a wonderful position. Leik Bansen didn't get a good kick on the ball. When Hermann Wiebe fell near the penalty area in the 91st minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Wedehorn's protests and gave Hermann Wiebe a yellow card for diving instead. The referee gave Rödder FSV a penalty, 93 minutes into the game. The penalty shot was made by Bastian Jagusch, who made a well placed shot into the net to the right of Wedehorn's Meik Locherer. 4-1. If Ralf-Joachim Helpenstein had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 96th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. When the referee ended the match the Rödder FSV players were able to celebrate. They had won a fair victory and recieved the ovations of their fans.
