The supporters of Röllersdorf FSV booed when Neckartailfingen FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 18 match minutes in a wonderful position. Otto Forbrig didn't get a good kick on the ball. After a rather tough play, Röllersdorf FSV's Jens-Uwe Bader got a free kick in the 20th minute. The Neckartailfingen FC fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 0-1. 36 minutes into the match, Röllersdorf FSV's goal looked a bit too open when Attila Haraszti came free, but Alex Meling reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 37thth minute of the game Attila Haraszti who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Röllersdorf FSV's Alex Meling was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Alex Meling didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Axel Hirte went, in the 39th minute, to the upper right corner, 0-2 was the resulting score. 47 minutes into the match, Röllersdorf FSV's goal looked a bit too open when Egon Herrndorf came free, but Alex Meling reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Attila Haraszti received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 48th minute. Alex Meling tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After the first half Neckartailfingen FC were leading 0-2. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Niko Schüten to strike the kick off in the second half. 56 minutes into the match, Röllersdorf FSV's goalkeeper Alex Meling had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Attila Haraszti. Egon Herrndorf showed that you don't have to tear a hole in the net to score, 0-5. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Björn Gerste during the 97th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. In the 98th minute, Björn Gerste hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field.
