Petrus Lautwein was out of position in the 5 minute of play, and Tobias Marx capitalized on the mistake with a soft shot into the goal. Tobias Marx really showed his touch with that goal: 1-0. After 7 played minutes Palenberg got a freekick which was hit by Asbjörn Kiefer. Joseph Weise succeeded in the game's 11th minute to shoot an unreachable shot under the crossbar and scored - 2-0. A hard shot 16 in the game by Joseph Weise from a close distance when the talented Petrus Lautwein managed to make a qualified save. Palenberg's players were relieved. The supporters of Lichtenbruch booed when Palenberg was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 17 match minutes in a wonderful position. Hermann Räthe didn't get a good kick on the ball. Palenberg's Petrus Lautwein proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 22nd minute of the match, managed to save Palenberg from getting a goal against them. If Matti Kuhr had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 25th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. The supporters of Lichtenbruch booed when Palenberg was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 25 match minutes in a wonderful position. Rainer Maria Schürhoff didn't get a good kick on the ball. Petrus Lautwein was in exellent shape and made a fantastic save when he, in the 27th minute of the match, managed to get hold of the ball after a long shot from Gilbert Henke. In the 30th minute, Matti Kuhr made a precise shot to the right of Petrus Lautwein. Palenberg's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 3-0. 35 minutes into the match, Lichtenbruch's Joseph Weise sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Petrus Lautwein narrowly saved just below the crossbar. After a rather tough play, Palenberg's Asbjörn Kiefer got a free kick in the 41st minute. Gilbert Henke didn't quite understand what happened when in the 44 minute of the game managed to get a great opportunity for a goal and then missed the goal by a feet. The home fans were very happy to see their team leading 3-0 at half-time.
The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Hermann Räthe was the one to do the kick off. Petrus Lautwein took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Joseph Weise, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Asbjörn Kiefer hit a great freekick 61 minutes into the match. 64 minutes into the match, Joseph Weise notched a goal, 4-0, to the right of Palenberg's Petrus Lautwein. Petrus Lautwein was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Conny Jakob fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 69th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Wim Blau having to interfere. After 75 minutes of play, Lichtenbruch's Joseph Weise made it 5-0 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Petrus Lautwein was left in no man's land by his defense there! Petrus Lautwein showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Joseph Weise in the 84th minute of the match. Conny Jakob's late challenge caught a Lichtenbruch's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Conny Jakob helped the player get up and apologised. 90 minutes into the match, Joseph Weise notched a goal, 6-0, to the right of Palenberg's Petrus Lautwein. Petrus Lautwein was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. After some fancy dribbling in the 94th minute, Matti Kuhr managed to get in a good position for a shot. Lichtenbruch's supporters rose to their feet, but Matti Kuhr was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Petrus Lautwein breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. When the referee ended the match the Lichtenbruch players were able to celebrate. They had won a fair victory and recieved the ovations of their fans.
