Spectators: 34 (Terracing: 26, Seating: 8, VIP seats: 0) Roger Scherer showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Gerrit-Alexander Gohmert, who was totally free with the ball in the 7th minute. Michael-Jan Jacobs sent away a hard shot on goal in the 9th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Gerrit-Alexander Gohmert might have been able to make a better finish in the 16th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Roger Scherer. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Gerrit-Alexander Gohmert ran back to his position shaking his head. Albin Barzik came free with the goalkeeper in the 18th minute of the match, and shot straight on target. The shot was a little too simple and Marko Pantel could save by the left post. If Zwi Keitel had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 19th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Marko Pantel made an important save on a dangerous shot by Albin Barzik in the 20th minute. In the 22nd minute, Zwi Keitel got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Albin Barzik could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 23rd minute of the match, but Marko Pantel made a huge save. After a rather tough play, Werl's Michael Mothe got a free kick in the 37th minute. Marko Pantel made an important save on a dangerous shot by Albin Barzik in the 43rd minute. Zwi Keitel was extremely unlucky when he, in the 45th minute, took a shot that hit the right post and went out. Michael-Jan Jacobs might have been able to make a better finish in the 47th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Roger Scherer. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Michael-Jan Jacobs ran back to his position shaking his head. The score stood at 0-0 when the half time whistle went. Both sets of players seemed reasonably pleased with how the match was going.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Zwi Keitel to make the kick off. Marko Pantel made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Albin Barzik in the 57th minute of play. The audience was convinced that Zwi Keitel's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Marko Pantel was relentless in the 62nd minute of the game. In the 69th match minute, Werl was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Felix Genau to maneuver through the defense. Gerrit-Alexander Gohmert recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 70th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. After having played for 72 minutes, Gerrit-Alexander Gohmert managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Werl's supporters crossed their fingers, but Gerrit-Alexander Gohmert was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. When Hervel FSV's Albin Barzik in the 77th minute got a chance for a shot 77th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Werl's goalie prevented a goal. Nikolaus Rohn hit a great freekick 77 minutes into the match. With a little luck, Hervel FSV's Roger Scherer got control of the ball when Gerrit-Alexander Gohmert tried to sneak it across the goal line. Zwi Keitel sent away a hard shot on goal in the 82nd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. After 84 minutes of play, the referee blew the whistle. It was a penalty for Werl! Gerrit-Alexander Gohmert recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 90th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Werl's Marko Pantel played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Zwi Keitel in the 97th minute of play. Hervel FSV's fans were exulted and cheered after their team won in a match that could easily have gone the other way.
