Casimir Kosack's late challenge caught a bennetainment's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Casimir Kosack helped the player get up and apologised. A collision led to Härtlingen FSV getting a freekick after 14 minutes play. Casimir Kosack hit a great ball. After having played for 24 minutes, Julius Tschida managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. bennetainment's supporters crossed their fingers, but Julius Tschida was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. After the first half bennetainment were leading 0-1. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Julius Tschida was the one to do the kick off. 51 minutes into the game, Gregor Hain was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. bennetainment's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Härtlingen FSV the free kick. The supporters of Härtlingen FSV booed when bennetainment was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 52 match minutes in a wonderful position. Gregor Hain didn't get a good kick on the ball. Härtlingen FSV's Horst Bitsch proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 64th minute of the match, managed to save Härtlingen FSV from getting a goal against them. The Härtlingen FSV fans had already started to leave before the final whistle blew. bennetainment were clearly better and deserved to take the win.
