When Tarkan Berg came up free with the goalie in the 8th minute, the Stadlberg FC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Tarkan Berg couldn't finish the play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Tobias Dieckmann in the 17th minute of play forced Bausen FSV's goalkeeper Vaclav Staudenhöchte to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Bausen FSV's Hermann Fiedler got a good chance for a goal in the 20th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. In the 23rd minute the ball was on its way in behind Bausen FSV's goalkeeper Vaclav Staudenhöchte, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Christoph Klingberg fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 25th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Jacques Brenner having to interfere. 29 minutes in the game, Christoph Klingberg fired away an excellent shot, which passed to the side of the right post without Jacques Brenner having to interfere. After some fancy dribbling in the 32nd minute, Tobias Dieckmann managed to get in a good position for a shot. If Hermann Fiedler had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 42nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. 43 minutes into the match, Christoph Klingberg had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Jacques Brenner. Stadlberg FC's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Christoph Klingberg was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 1-0. All the noise was coming from the home fans when the whistle went for half-time. The home team had fought hardest to put themselves in a deserved lead.

Dirk-Justus Wurm received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 55th minute. Vaclav Staudenhöchte tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. A collision led to Bausen FSV getting a freekick after 57 minutes play. Julius Goldenbogen hit a great ball. If Tobias Dieckmann had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 60th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Dirk-Justus Wurms short, quick shot in the 66thth minute got Vaclav Staudenhöchte to make great effort and bar the ball away from getting in. Hermann Fiedler fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 68th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Jacques Brenner having to interfere. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Christoph Klingberg in the 70th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Jacques Brenner saved Stadlberg FC from getting behind. Chris Schwunk's late challenge caught a Bausen FSV's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Chris Schwunk helped the player get up and apologised. The supporters of Bausen FSV booed when Stadlberg FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 78 match minutes in a wonderful position. Chris Schwunk didn't get a good kick on the ball. Hermann Fiedler fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 80th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Jacques Brenner having to interfere. Christoph Klingberg sent away a hard shot on goal in the 84th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. The referee ignored Bausen FSV's protests and gave Julius Goldenbogen a yellow card for diving instead. In the 93rd minute, Julius Goldenbogen hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. If Tobias Dieckmann had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 96th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead.
