Spectators: 34 (Terracing: 26, Seating: 8, VIP seats: 0) Dark clouds were building up when the players entered the field. None of the them looked very eager to play. Marc Rosenzweig started the match with the kick off. Phaenomen FC's Hinnerk Stradinger played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Marc Rosenzweig in the 6th minute of play. Hinnerk Stradinger showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Marc Rosenzweig, who was totally free with the ball in the 10th minute. Albert Tebbe recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 13th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. After a rather tough play, Phaenomen FC's Bart Bertermann got a free kick in the 16th minute. After a defensive mix-up in Phaenomen FC's zone, Marc Rosenzweig stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Hinnerk Stradinger came out of the goal and Marc Rosenzweig tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Otto Bache came out of the goal in the 21st minute to try and stop a shot by Phaenomen FC's Wulf Bachor. But to his dismay, Wulf Bachor quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-1. Marc Rosenzweig fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 27th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Hinnerk Stradinger having to interfere. After 30 played minutes Phaenomen FC got a freekick which was hit by Ken Kremer. Holm Aepken received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 31st minute. Hinnerk Stradinger tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After 32 minutes, Ken Kremer mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Phaenomen FC and the SF Ammelbruch players grew even worse after the yellow card. In the 32nd match minute, Phaenomen FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Ken Kremer to maneuver through the defense. Holm Aepken might have been able to make a better finish in the 35th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Hinnerk Stradinger. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Holm Aepken ran back to his position shaking his head. Holm Aepken received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 37th minute. Hinnerk Stradinger tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Albert Tebbe in the 42nd minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Otto Bache prevented the ball from getting in the gole. When the match had gone on for 44 minutes, Marc Rosenzweig took a quick shot and it went in 1-1 without a chance for Hinnerk Stradinger to make any attempt to save it. In the 48th match minute, SF Ammelbruch was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Guido Kröger to maneuver through the defense. SF Ammelbruch's Otto Bache played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Albert Tebbe in the 49th minute of play. The first half was very even, with the score at 1-1 when the whistle went for half-time. The players welcomed the break and quickly retired to the dressing rooms.

Albert Tebbe sent away a hard shot on goal in the 54th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 58th match minute, SF Ammelbruch was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Roy Bauermeister to maneuver through the defense. Wulf Bachor might have been able to make a better finish in the 59th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Otto Bache. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Wulf Bachor ran back to his position shaking his head. 60 minutes into the match, Wulf Bachor dribbled the ball past the defender and swiftly kicked the ball to the left of Otto Bache, 1-2. SF Ammelbruch's Otto Bache proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 65th minute of the match, managed to save SF Ammelbruch from getting a goal against them. The supporters of Phaenomen FC booed when SF Ammelbruch was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 66 match minutes in a wonderful position. Klaus Godenschwengen didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 67th minute, Uno Spiller sent off a long shot on goal, but the shot was nowhere near the goal and SF Ammelbruch's Otto Bache didn't even have to move. After having played for 71 minutes, Holm Aepken managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. SF Ammelbruch's supporters crossed their fingers, but Holm Aepken was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. If Wulf Bachor had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 74th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. The crowd rose to their feet as Wulf Bachor kicked a wonderful shot that went in to the left of a diving Otto Bache. That made the score 1-3 in the 77 minute of play. When Phaenomen FC's Albert Tebbe in the 82nd minute got a chance for a shot 82nd didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye SF Ammelbruch's goalie prevented a goal. Albert Tebbe received a nice pass, split the defenders, and ran untouched towards the goal. Otto Bache came out and tried to block the shot, but Albert Tebbe slotted it home off the left post making it 1-4 in the 83rd minute. Wulf Bachor got a fine position in front of goal ttaking advantage of the opportunity to rumble in 1-5 in the right cross in the 86th match minute before Otto Bache had time to react. An unexpected shot in the 92nd minute by Wulf Bachor got the crowd on their feet, but to their dismay it went out on the left side. The Phaenomen FC players were relieved to hear the final whistle blow to end the match. The away crowd was happy to see their team win after a very tight game.
