Sigi Kauder received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 17th minute. Johann Hartjes tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 18th minute Steven Lange shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Dieter Butzendorf saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Jakob Rankel sent away a hard shot on goal in the 20th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Johann Hartjes didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for FC Alkis. After 39 played minutes, FC Alkis's Brandon Ngo shot from a long distance, and at first it looked like the ball was going into the goal, but the goalkeeper Johann Hartjes came through and got his fingers on the ball before it flew over the goal line. He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in FC Alkis reached it. If Dirk Dürre had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 42nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. An unexpectedly hard shot by Dirk Dürre in the 44th minute of play forced Spetzerfehn FC's goalkeeper Johann Hartjes to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Steven Lange was the one to do the kick off. Johann Hartjes made a fantastic save in the 54th minute, when Sigi Kauder sent off a good shot on target. After 55 played minutes Spetzerfehn FC got a freekick which was hit by Tobi Braun. After some fancy dribbling in the 56th minute, Dirk Dürre managed to get in a good position for a shot. FC Alkis's supporters rose to their feet, but Dirk Dürre was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Johann Hartjes breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Dirk Dürre in the 58th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Johann Hartjes prevented the ball from getting in the gole. In the 59th match minute, Spetzerfehn FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Tobi Braun to maneuver through the defense. Sigi Kauders short, quick shot in the 60thth minute got Johann Hartjes to make great effort and bar the ball away from getting in. Dirk Dürre's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Johann Hartjes read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 63rd minute of play. The audience thought a goal was coming when Sigi Kauder got free with Johann Hartjes in the 68th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Dirk Dürre recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 70th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. 71 minutes into the game, Sigi Kauder lined in a short shot 1-1 behind a frustrated Johann Hartjes. The audience thought a goal was coming when Sigi Kauder got free with Johann Hartjes in the 77th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. In the 79thth minute of the game Dirk Dürre who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Spetzerfehn FC's Johann Hartjes was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. In the 81st minute, Sigi Kauder made a precise shot to the right of Johann Hartjes. Spetzerfehn FC's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 1-2. If Sigi Kauder had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 85th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 88th minute, Tobi Braun hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Irmin Krumbe, 89 minutes into the match, dribbled the ball up the side of the field and decided to take a long shot at the goal. Unfortunately, the ball was poorly hit and landed closer to the corner than to the goal. Steven Lange sent away a hard shot on goal in the 92nd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. If Steven Lange had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 94th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Dirk Dürre was really disappointed when he shot the ball just outside the right post instead of scoring a goal in the 96th minute. FC Alkis's manager could be seen on the sidelines shaking his head and muttering to himself as his team had just wasted another chance. The Spetzerfehn FC supporters were disappointed that their team didn't take anything from the match, despite matching FC Alkis's performance. The match ended with a win for FC Alkis.
