The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. Jerry Irmscher took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Pascal Schindler, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. If Froilan Selatse had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 5th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 12thth minute of the game Froilan Selatse who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Steckfeld FSV's Jerry Irmscher was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Rainald Feller charged in rather forcefully in the 19th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Rainald Feller the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. In the 21st minute Sergio Kamp shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Thierry Oettinger saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Malte Bloch received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 22nd minute. Thierry Oettinger tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Pascal Schindler struck a weak shot in the 25th minute. Jerry Irmscher didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Timesteam. 29 minutes into the match, Timesteam's Pankraz Wolf sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Jerry Irmscher narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Pascal Schindler sent away a hard shot on goal in the 32nd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Willibald Roßbach kicked well hit freekick during the 32nd minute of the match. Pascal Schindler blasted a shot towards the goal in the 35th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Jerry Irmscher having to make a save. 37 minutes into the match, Timesteam's goalkeeper Thierry Oettinger had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Jakov Siebert. The audience was convinced that Jakov Siebert's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Thierry Oettinger was relentless in the 38th minute of the game. Froilan Selatse received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 42nd minute. Jerry Irmscher tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Jakov Siebert took the ball and in the 45 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Thierry Oettinger. Thierry Oettinger dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 1-0. When the referee blew for the end of the half the home team players were clearly happier, as they went in to the break leading 1-0.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Froilan Selatse was the one to do the kick off. In the 53rd minute of the match Egidius Vieten shot from a long distance. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Jerry Irmscher showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. After 54 played minutes Timesteam got a freekick which was hit by Erik Jung. Malte Bloch received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 61st minute. Thierry Oettinger tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Malte Bloch might have been able to make a better finish in the 65th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Thierry Oettinger. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Malte Bloch ran back to his position shaking his head. Steckfeld FSV's defense didn't have a chance, in the 68th minute, when Froilan Selatse scored to the left of an out of position Jerry Irmscher, making the score, 1-1. In the 73rd minute, Curt Straal hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. 78 minutes into the game, Pascal Schindler was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Timesteam's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Steckfeld FSV the free kick. After a rather tough play, Timesteam's Pascal Schindler got a free kick in the 78th minute. Thierry Oettinger didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Jakov Siebert went, in the 79th minute, to the upper right corner, 2-1 was the resulting score. If Pascal Schindler had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 89th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Steckfeld FSV's supporters were highly satisfied with the result. They cheered their team of the pitch, having watched them win a very even match.
