But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that György Mühlstein couldn't finish the play. Klaus Prielhofer showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Justus Breiter, who was totally free with the ball in the 36th minute. 37 minutes into the game, Andreas Frenzle was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Amnesia CL's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Lümbach the free kick. Leo-Jan Theinert showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Bolko Hahnen in the 48th minute of the match. Af the end of the first half the score was 2-1. The first half had gone as expected for the home team.

53 minutes into the match, Amnesia CL's goal looked a bit too open when Justus Breiter came free, but Klaus Prielhofer reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 54th minute the ball was on its way in behind Amnesia CL's goalkeeper Klaus Prielhofer, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. After some fancy dribbling in the 58th minute, György Mühlstein managed to get in a good position for a shot. Amnesia CL's supporters rose to their feet, but György Mühlstein was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Leo-Jan Theinert breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Bolko Hahnen fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 59th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Leo-Jan Theinert having to interfere. Bolko Hahnen sent away a hard shot on goal in the 60th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Bolko Hahnen received a nice pass, split the defenders, and ran untouched towards the goal. Leo-Jan Theinert came out and tried to block the shot, but Bolko Hahnen slotted it home off the left post making it 2-2 in the 66th minute. If Justus Klebsch had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 71st minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Lümbach's Leo-Jan Theinert played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Bolko Hahnen in the 78th minute of play. In the 89thth minute of the game Bolko Hahnen who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Lümbach's Leo-Jan Theinert was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. After a defensive mix-up in Amnesia CL's zone, Justus Klebsch stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Klaus Prielhofer came out of the goal and Justus Klebsch tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. In the 92nd minute György Mühlstein shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Leo-Jan Theinert saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Justus Klebsch fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 94th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Klaus Prielhofer having to interfere. Amnesia CL were clearly unhappy with the draw, as they felt they had done enough to earn themselves a victory.
