The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. Fortunato Hohenzollern hit a great freekick 16 minutes into the match. Ladislaus Oelmayer showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Theodor Kavel in the 20th minute of the match. The supporters of Möllmann FSV booed when Stubbenfelde was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 23 match minutes in a wonderful position. Tobias Altesleben didn't get a good kick on the ball. An unexpectedly hard shot by Ekkehard Pleve in the 43rd minute of play forced Möllmann FSV's goalkeeper Ladislaus Oelmayer to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Disappointed in the 0-2 score, the home team went to the dressing room to adjust tactics for the second half.

Niclas Mansour Al made in the 68th minute of the game a quick throw-in and Ekkehard Pleve immediately put the ball in play. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Joe Tschorn during the 69th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. Ladislaus Oelmayer showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Theodor Kavel, who was totally free with the ball in the 71st minute. Heinrich Henke sent away a hard shot on goal in the 95th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance.
