Emre Breitling-Becker took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Godwin Scherlitz, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 15th minute, Pohlheim's Godwin Scherlitz dribbled the ball into the box and hit a shot with the outside of his foot, sending the keeper the wrong way. 1-0. In the 23rdth minute of the game Ingo Illmann who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Pohlheim's Damian Karl was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. The referee felt a red card was in order, 24 minutes into the game, when Manfred Pittscheidt put in a rough tackle. 35 minutes into the match, Michel Holzfuß notched a goal, 2-2, to the right of Pohlheim's Damian Karl. Damian Karl was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Julius Gorski sent away a hard shot on goal in the 39th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 41st minute, Michel Holzfuß hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 44th minute, Michel Holzfuß left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Rahe FC fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 2-3. After the first half Rahe FC were leading 2-3. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

After 51 minutes of play, Rahe FC's Herrmann Korkus made it 2-4 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Damian Karl was left in no man's land by his defense there! 58 minutes into the match, Pohlheim's goal looked a bit too open when Erk Schirmer came free, but Damian Karl reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Pohlheim's Damian Karl proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 62nd minute of the match, managed to save Pohlheim from getting a goal against them. After having played for 64 minutes, Julius Gorski managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Pohlheim's supporters crossed their fingers, but Julius Gorski was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. After a defensive mix-up in Rahe FC's zone, Julius Gorski stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Emre Breitling-Becker came out of the goal and Julius Gorski tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Michel Holzfuß hit a great freekick 71 minutes into the match. Julius Gorski received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 76th minute. Emre Breitling-Becker tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Ingo Illmann's late challenge caught a Pohlheim's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Ingo Illmann helped the player get up and apologised. A collision led to Rahe FC getting a freekick after 80 minutes play. Ingo Illmann hit a great ball. Julius Gorski sent away a hard shot on goal in the 93rd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Chants of Rahe FC echoed around the stadium as the match drew to a close. Supporters and players were both delighted with the win, as Pohlheim had held the ball for most of the match.
