Heufurt's Peter-Michael Ehinger played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Henning Stöhr in the 2nd minute of play. 6 minutes into the match, Rolshagen's Henning Stöhr sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Peter-Michael Ehinger narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Henning Stöhr struck a weak shot in the 9th minute. Peter-Michael Ehinger didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Rolshagen. Ralf Georgii sent away a hard shot on goal in the 11th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 13thth minute of the game Erwin Huppert who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Heufurt's Peter-Michael Ehinger was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. 15 minutes into the game, Arnim List cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 0-1. Peter-Michael Ehinger was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Leif Gödtel fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 19th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Timur Schwarzbäcker having to interfere. Ralf Georgii recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 20th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Ralf Georgii struck a weak shot in the 23rd minute. Timur Schwarzbäcker didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Heufurt. 25 minutes into the match, Ralf Georgii had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Timur Schwarzbäcker. Rolshagen's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Ralf Georgii was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 1-1. After some fancy dribbling in the 28th minute, Leif Gödtel managed to get in a good position for a shot. Heufurt's supporters rose to their feet, but Leif Gödtel was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Timur Schwarzbäcker breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. 33 minutes into the game, Arnim List cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 1-2. Peter-Michael Ehinger was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. The supporters of Heufurt booed when Rolshagen was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 35 match minutes in a wonderful position. Henning Stöhr didn't get a good kick on the ball. Paul Knöpfel hit a great freekick 39 minutes into the match. Peter-Michael Ehinger took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Henning Stöhr, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Luck had favoured the away team in the first, and they walked off with a 1-2 lead.
When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Henning Stöhr made a kick off. Ralf Georgii sent away a hard shot on goal in the 52nd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Erwin Huppert's shot straight on target was not completely harmless. The ball had pretty good speed, but Peter-Michael Ehinger firmly grabbed it by the left post. Ralf Georgii received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 56th minute. Timur Schwarzbäcker tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Erwin Huppert took the ball and in the 60 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Peter-Michael Ehinger. Peter-Michael Ehinger dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 1-3. Peter-Michael Ehinger showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Reinhold Arnold, who was totally free with the ball in the 63rd minute. The supporters of Rolshagen booed when Heufurt was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 68 match minutes in a wonderful position. Leif Gödtel didn't get a good kick on the ball. 72 minutes into the match, Heufurt's goal looked a bit too open when Henning Stöhr came free, but Peter-Michael Ehinger reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Heufurt's Peter-Michael Ehinger proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 75th minute of the match, managed to save Heufurt from getting a goal against them. Manfred Arendt charged in rather forcefully in the 76th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Manfred Arendt the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. In the 76th minute, Manfred Arendt hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Erwin Huppert received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 81st minute. Peter-Michael Ehinger tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Timur Schwarzbäcker didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Leif Gödtel went, in the 83rd minute, to the upper right corner, 2-3 was the resulting score. Reinhold Arnold hit a great freekick 90 minutes into the match. Peter-Michael Ehinger was in the perfect position, and the defense had done a good job marking him, but Henning Stöhr showcased his skills and made a perfect shot to score 2-4 in the 93 minute of play. Rolshagen played a much better game than Heufurt and deserved their victory. The Heufurt players were clearly disappointed as they left the ground.
